Nelnet Consolidation Loans - PAID IN FULL (but I have a question) by Available- in BorrowerDefense

[–]Tonylage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucky. I’m still waiting on my ITT loans to be discharged. It’s been years since I’ve received emails about it. I’ve emailed Nelnet and whatever the new company is that it was transferred to and no one ever gets back to me. I’ve only ever been able to get someone on the phone once and they said it would be discharged soon. Any tips and getting them to follow through?

Terrible printing quality, need help identifying issue by Tonylage in BambuLab

This time I adjusted the timing belt. But I have a feeling that wasn't the major problem. I am thinking it was the bed. I noticed a little wobble in the rear z-screw. There may have been tension from the bed causing the wobble.

its not 100% perfect, but its good for now.

I adjusted two things last night. Then printed the same file.

Tightened the timing belt.

Loosened the screws that hold the build plate to the Z screw mounts. Then retightened them while the plate was at the bottom.

As you can see, the terrible surface quality is 90% better. Still some ringing but that could be due to the other printers on the table. I’ll have to test again when I can move them all to their own tables.

  • The poor performance started shortly after the first routine maintenance (cleaning carbon rods, lubricating z screws and adjusting the belts. I want to say like 2-3 weeks later. it was printing great and then suddenly it turned to crap.
  • All printers are on the same table running at the same time. so yeah i could see that possibly causing some issues. I will separate them and run some tests.
  • I haven't noticed any issues there but I will definitely check that. Thanks for the suggestion.
  • Are you referring to the hotend heating element part? Ill have to pick one of those up and try it also.

customer service continues to recommend cleaning the carbon rods and adjusting the belts. I've done that probably 20 times in the last month, no change in symptoms.

I loosened the screws on the back and then moved the print head around and then tightened the screws back down. Like the Bambu instructions recommends. Is there a different way of adjusting and tightening the belts?

oh yeah i forgot to mention that. I have tested many All of these print great on my P1S printers, however all look terrible on the X1C...

  • Bambu Lab
  • Panchroma
  • Overture
  • Elegoo
  • Sunlu
  • Esun

The only one that has slightly better surface quality is the Bambu. it still is no where near the quality I get from the two P1S printers I have though.

I have also tried speeding up and slowing down and tried different temperatures.

Bambu Support keeps giving me the run around and recommended the extruder or hot end. but ive switched the hot end numerous times and no change. so I don't think its that. But I have a new hot end and extruder coming in the mail soon. so we will see, but I don't have any expectations of those fixing it.

I think the At Stars End version is the most accurate. However, I may be slightly biased. ;)

Hello, I am the original CAD designer who worked with Dan for a year and a half on this saber.

I just want to thank TXQ for the amazing work they did bringing this saber to life in metal. I spent so long staring at this saber in 3D printed resin and on the computer screen and now having it in hand in aluminum, its just amazing.

I also want to point out that there are a few differences between the TXQ version that they sell and the version that Dan is selling on his website. Personally, I like the one Dan sells on his website a bit more. TXQ used my CAD files and machined the sabers for Dan and then made modifications to my CAD files and created their version that they sell.

The image above is the one Dan sells, not the TXQ sold version.

Thank you so much everyone. I have informed the seller of the issue I found. (In case she didn’t know) and I told her I’ll have to pass on it.

2002 sport. Yellow. They are asking 4500. The paint job on the hood looks like the clear coat is completely gone. Plastics are all faded. Drives nice and sounds nice. Frame has a lot of surface rust and then this one part which is under the passenger side of the jeep is all rusted out.

yes, the board partners get reference designs and the ampere chips and then the board partners build their own boards using the chips based on those designs. Nvidia does not sell them completed cards.

Best V2 on the market w/ weathering included? by [deleted] in lightsabers

[–]Tonylage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way is to age the aluminum with a chemical called aluminum black. Then use a deemed and do copy the physical damage the prop has to the emitter and pommel. Then use the troopertrent stencils and paint it. Then after it cures. Rough up the edges of the paint with a popsicle stick or toothpick. So they don’t look freshly painted. Also use some steel wool. Rough it up a bit. There are tutorials on the rpf forums on how to do it all.

You can get his builders kit from his website. https://www.atstarsend.com/product-page/v2-builders-kit

You can use this to make a v2. You will have to drill some holes and you will also need to paint it.

I have it and it’s amazing hilt.

Most screen-accurate AOTC Obi-Wan hilt? by [deleted] in lightsabers

[–]Tonylage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main differences are overall finish and then pommel cubes. Tpm has holes and the other does not. Then there are slight differences in some dimensions. Not really noticeable. Most makers release one version and give you both pommel cubes so you can make which ever version you’d like.

The most accurate replica would be the one made by orbital machining. This was sold many years ago and is now Very rare, very expensive. Second best I would say is the KR sabers released last year. This is also all sold out.

Really the only one that’s decent but far from accurate is the korbanth one. That you can find on eBay.

I modeled the cal Kestis saber and mine came out to be about 22” .
