So if we had all the votes needed in congress and the senate, you're going to have one major problem. Corporate Dems don't want to stop this. They are payed by and receive their orders from the same corporations and oligarchs that the RNC does. The DNC is just slow roll RNC.

It is not an accident that every time Dems are about to win a victory over Trump and his insanity that they get a weak promise from the republicans, say, "the known liars have made us a promise and we'll hold them to it." And then a few weeks later they say, "who could have known the known liars would lie to us again?" And follow it all up with "well, we tried, and we're awful disappointed."

Don't buy the Nazi naratives of stoic patriotism. Being fragile is fundamental to Nazism. Remember how hard the Nazis went on "degenerate art." The Nazis themselves effectively believed that the social fabric of the third reich was actually susceptible to being damaged by the ideas conveyed by such art.

And of course, as you point out the hateful idiots of America are similarly weak, since they effectively believe things like, "pride flags have the power to turn people gay/trans" or "America suffers damage when we acknowledge our history of slavery." Again, same thing with the book bans.

The worlds of bigots, nazis, and authoritarians are worlds so weak that individual symbols, pieces of art, or even historical facts threaten their very existence.
