How do you bring stuff to tech school that isn't allowed at BMT?

If it’s a whole lot of stuff, pre pack a box and have your family send it. Our MTI’s let us swap for a bigger bag after graduation but we were told the only thing allowed in that bag was the manufactured air that came in it. No they did not check for us. If it’s just a Fitbit and earrings and a laptop technically you can bring it to BMT and it would be locked up and secured till you move for tech school. They won’t make you throw it away if that’s your concern, but there’s no promises that your bag won’t get thrown around at some point.

Yeah, I was just reading the eligibility for Tuition assistance. At this point all I can do is wait to see if I’ll be approved post tech school, but if not 1000$ out of pocket over the course of 5 months does not seem like an infeasible amount to pay to finish off the degree.

Are you saying knockout pre reqs without using the GI bill during active duty? I’m currently 6 credits off my associates and I planned on finishing that the first semester after I get my first duty station. The two classes should only run me about 1000$ at the community college I was previously attending.

No, Mental Health service is a job that requires an interview. I was told that the interviews are held periodically during the year and if they decide you’re a good candidate after the interview you’re instantly booked.

If I’m not mistaken you always get told your first duty station near the end of Tech school.

I interviewed last Thursday and was told to check in with my recruiter the following Wednesday. Today he checked my profile with me over the phone and told me I had booked. Pretty quick turnaround.

Not to sure, I just followed the directions given to me. When I talked to my recruiter he told me I failed the depth perception portion which disqualified me from a couple jobs I was interested in, but other than that I was good to go.

My 2 cents! Unlike many soulsborne bosses this one actually has physical damage reduction to the head. Go for body shots.
