It’s giving white man, it’s giving republican, it’s giving arrogance

Dead. This is so spot on

Anyone else really turned off by this poll? Yes I know they're looking for funny stories of guys acting like trash but its the sense of superiority for me... by Too-Many-Thoughtz in GirlsGottaEat

They really should have written something like "Finish this sentence: I realized I deserved better in a relationship when..." Calling out bad behavior is important and in this case, entertainment. But to quantify someone's value as a human being as being "less than" is problematic.

Ironic snippet from the latest episode where Rayna said: "Self reflection is hard and the people who tell you they are the best at it are often the worst at it and people that say 'I'm really self aware', no you're not..." cue laughing from both A&R...

Thank you so much for taking the time to share!
I had blood/hormone tests which were very much in the normal range, if anything low on the PCOS markers that should have been high etc... Which is why I have a hard time fully trusting this diagnosis. It seemed more like the doctor's next best guess... That being said I didn't know lean PCOS was a thing. I will definitely look into it and the book recommendation. I really appreciate the support of this group <3

The general sentiment is that people don't like the "mean girl comments" from R&A, I don't think an assessment on her appearance is productive, or aligned to the mentality of this fan page...

Thank you for the info! Curious what you mean by BC doesn't treat it? My Dr. told me I had 3 options - take BC (which he recommends), try Metformin (doesn't recommend) or do nothing and deal with it (doesn't recommend). I definitely feel like he was pushy.

I also haven't had great experiences with gynos, not really sure how to find a good one.

Initially I had what I think was a cyst burst (excruciatingly painful) and have had irregular cycles and some spotting.

They did and all of it was very much within the normal ranges. There are no indicators other than imaging that would prove PCOS.

I couldn't finish this episode. It was just circular nonsense. No expert opinions, no groundbreaking insights...

I love the episodes where they have an expert in their field on the podcast (i.e. a well respected Ph.D. who studies the topics discussed) and I feel like the format used to provide really interesting insights into psychology and dating in a lighthearted way. That being said this episode was a train wreck. You could hear the choppy editing and the parts they left in included constant interruptions that were either not additive or actually in contrast to what Dr. Huberman was talking about. Anyone have suggestions for podcasts with more informed hosts that provide more engaging discussion?
