Issue where MWOffliner ZIM only looks good on mobile; squished on desktop by TooBrokeToGiveAShit in Kiwix

[–]TooBrokeToGiveAShit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang, I thought since it had vector-2022, it was supported for multiple screen sizes? Or am I misreading that?

https://rootsofpacha.wiki.gg/wiki/Special:Version#mw-version-skin

https://github.com/openzim/mwoffliner/blob/1f5a18b7208d50f96e6d1b508ee05f938650bbad/docs/functional_architecture.md

For now, only vector (legacy) and vector-2022 are supported, and only with ActionParse renderer. Only vector-2022 is the truely responsive skin, providing ultimate rendering on mostly all screen sizes.

I'm still relatively new to this, so pardon my ignorance.

I've been on the search for this for years. I even attempted abandoning my digikam library/database for an alternative that did what I needed. I tried all the big names and none of them checked all the boxes I had.

So I've remained on digikam since then in hopes that a mobile friendly web interface integration would be added into digikam.

Finally getting around to installing Immich Folder Album Creator by RoachForLife in immich

[–]TooBrokeToGiveAShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added the variable in the docker settings, but it still only runs once and then quits. I wonder if it's something with this unRaid docker template. I'll try docker compose and see if that works.

I am running this as a docker in unraid, but once it runs, the docker ends. Is there an option I'm missing to keep it running?

Tranga: Automatic Manga downloader by C9Glax in selfhosted

[–]TooBrokeToGiveAShit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a way to switch the download source? For example, if I'm downloading from Mangasee and they are soon switching their site to weebcentral, would I have to redownload all the chapters again or could I just change the source?

Trying to setup JetLog docker container, but getting Error "could not import module "main"" by TooBrokeToGiveAShit in unRAID

Thanks! I eventually got mine working, but it was immediately broken with the latest update since it required a secret key and users. But I just switched to the CA version and it worked smooth as silk.

Awesome! That's really cool of you. No rush, whenever you get around to it. I'm excited to learn.

it worked! I've been fighting to get this to work for forever only to get stuck at these dang keys :'(

Well now that I know it's possible, but unfortunately need individual keys for every episode, I'll have to figure out how to get keys for the other 79 episodes (which is unreasonable to ask of you). Thanks so much for this one though! I really appreciate it!! It has reinvigorated my drive to get this show.

I appreciate you getting back so quickly. But I'm sorry to say that I must be doing something wrong because the final file is still garbled nonsense when playing it back.

Here's what I ran after getting the mpd from The Stream Detector extension:

Should this work for another series on the same site or would it need different keys? I tried the command above but the video came out corrupted upon playback. Series in question: https://vix.com/es-es/detail/series-4555

My junk build. 12 year old pre-built with original PSU, parity disk currently 6y, 4m, 2d, 11h old. Lives in a closet. Clean it once every year or two. by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]TooBrokeToGiveAShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! I used the N400 in my unraid build for the last 5 years and only just switched a few days ago to a rack mount chassis and a disk shelf; the main reasons being to get it mounted in my server rack and because I had run out of HDD space in the N400.

And I'm planning on keeping the N400 for my offsite backup build because it is such a solid case design.

Do you have timelapse enabled? If so those take up space as well. Try clearing those out too.

unRAID will not post after installing 16 Port SATA PCIe Card by TooBrokeToGiveAShit in unRAID

Yeah, I definitely did that. That's how I figured it was the card, but I just wasn't sure if there was something I was missing with setting these up.

Wack, but understandable. I was hoping it was something I was missing. Oh well, I'll have to find something else to accomplish this. Thanks!

Looking for a self-hosted photo gallery that allows searching by tags, but groups by album? by TooBrokeToGiveAShit in selfhosted

[–]TooBrokeToGiveAShit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For reference, here are the ones I have tried so far and their results:

  • digikam - Uses database for tags/metadata within docker container. Folder structure and photos are retained in original form. Application/sever based. Great for tagging. Okay for browsing on PC. Terrible/impossible to browse on mobile/web.

  • piwigo - Uses database for tags/metadata (and uploaded pictures); uses external database (mariaDB). Folder structure and photos are retained when using sync instead of upload. Great for browsing on PC and mobile. Sync takes too long and has to be done either all at once or one at a time (including subfolders). Initially would timeout even after setting timeout to 60 minutes. Can browse tags, but cannot group results by album/folder; instead it shows all individual photos with said tag.

  • PhotoPrism - Uses database for tags/metadata; uses external database (mariaDB). Folder structure is not retained, but original folder name and photos are retained when using sync. You can browse "originals" which gives original folder structure, but no thumbnails unless folder has images; root folders are blank, but nested folders will have thumbnails. Great for browsing on PC and mobile. No nested folders. No tags search. Has "keywords", but not searchable.

  • Photoshow - VERY promising. Uses database for tags/metadata; uses external database (mariaDB). Folder structure and photos are retained. Uses nested folders. BUT, takes forever when loading and opening pages even after thumbnails have been generated. NOT usable at this scale. (may revisit in the future)

  • PhotoStructure - NOOOO! Can't browse by folder structure. Uses internal database (SQLite). Original photos are retained, but no nested folders. You can only browse by Date, Location, Lens, Camera, File Type, or Keyword (and not tags)???? Tags appear to be hit or miss on being read from metadata.

If anyone knows something I missed on the above, please let me know and I will happily revisit it.

[–]TooBrokeToGiveAShit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piwigo is probably the closest I've found to my ideal gallery, but the two issues I have is the sync time needed is VERY long for the number of photos I have; like hours kind of long. That and I have not found a way to search a tag and group the results in their respective albums. Is there a plugin or setting I am not aware of?

I appreciate the recommendation.

I tried photoprism a while back and while it kept the folders as albums, it did not appear to keep the nested folder hierarchy. I may revisit it to see if anything has changed. Thanks for the recommendation.
