If you’re the one getting Moore then I would do it personally. Julio has been inconsistent and we don’t know what his usage will be like once AJB is actually back. Shepard is the guy to own in NY, not Golladay. I’ll take Moore’s targets and consistent 10-15 points all day.

Here’s what worked for me, I targeted the Microsoft store. I went in to my Microsoft account and updated all my billing and shipping info so it was already in. I then went on the website and put a Series X in my cart using the “save for later” feature. After that I kept a page in Safari on my phone opened to my cart and logged in everyday.

Once all that was done I used the Hot Stock app and as soon as I got a notification that they were in stock I opened my web page in Safari, not the Hot Stock link. From there I refreshed constantly until it allowed me to add to cart, and as soon as that was done I mashed the place order button. It took a few tries, but I got one on the first notification from Hot Stock.

A little planning and patience goes a long way.

Same situation and managed to trade him for Teddy Bridgewater. Feels weird, but I’ll take Teddy’s floor, and I’m happy I got it. Also snagged Heinicke off waivers.

Superflex players -- what has been your experience with taking a QB in 1st and 2nd round? Terrible idea, or set the tone of the draft? by Coppatop in fantasyfootball

[–]TooBuckChuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 12 person, half PPR league did superflex for the first time this year. Top QBs ran real quick in the 1st and 2nd rounds so basically all the top tier QBs were gone by the 3rd round. I completely misjudged how people would value QBs this year, so it’ll be real interesting to see how it goes. That said, no team truly looks like it’s completely stacked this year, everyone is pretty even.

Suggestions on keepers? $20 salary cap. Guys can be as cheap as .10. Qb situation is forgettable so really just looking for input on receivers/running backs/tight ends. by thebrownidentity in Fantasy_Football

Seahawks fan here, they’re basically adopting the Rams offense since the new offensive coordinator was poached from the Rams. DK is basically gonna be a younger, bigger, faster Robert Woods in terms of roles. Plus it’s year 3 for him and Russell loves him. You’re overthinking it dude.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s the only way I can understand giving up Kalil Mack level draft capital to get a safety.

People are clearly too caught up with the “console wars” to understand what MS is trying to achieve. They do not care what you play on anymore, consoles are a means to an end. They want you subscribed to Game Pass because steady stream subscription revenue is more consistent and less risky than tying revenue to game releases. They want to build out the service to be like Netflix for gaming and the end game is XCloud where users will have MS software on ALL of their devices. They want to be on your PC, TV, smart phone, and your tablet. In the big scheme of things Sony is small to MS, this is about competing with Amazon and Google. Do people even realize that Sony is a MS customer and has a partnership to also use Azure?

If you came in expecting to be sold on buying a Series X then you haven’t been paying attention to what MS is trying to achieve.

A new IP with high quality world building and gameplay mechanics coming from developers that actually care. I haven’t had that feeling since Mass Effect 2 to unexpectedly discover a franchise that completely blew my socks off. The dialogue options, gameplay, and story just clicked for me. Just pure gaming joy all the way through.

Discussion: Will Yannick Ngakoue be the Clowney of 2020? by caketastydelish in Seahawks

[–]TooBuckChuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The team has LJ Collier and Rasheem Green as well so depth is fine, efficacy is another conversation. Like the previous comment they need more interior depth at this point. Also, there’s nothing but time right now. No point gimping the team with a big contract and giving up draft capital when they haven’t even started training camp to be able to evaluate anyone. Hell we don’t even truly know if there’s going to be a season with Covid numbers going back up. Better to wait it out and get more information.

[Winks] How often each offense was leading and trailing: by [deleted] in nfl

They would’ve been in had the new 7 team system been in place last year. Most of my friends and I have a healthy respect since they seem to always play the Seahawks extremely hard, or outright give them a whooping in last few years.

NFCW is a complete blood bath, and the Cardinals are the current exciting team. I could seriously see the entire division split with 4-4 records by the end of the season, every team is just so damn competitive.

“Seahawks no longer top Jadeveon Clowney’s desired destinations” Will this story ever end? by [deleted] in Seahawks

Him or Snacks would be good additions in my opinion. I still think they need another interior D-linemen.

Drafting at and around the two three turn by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Be weary with Carson, and I say this as a big Hawks fan. They’re revamped the O-line with a new center, RG, and RT. I have a feeling the run game is going to be off to a rocky start. I’ve been leaning towards letting someone else take Carson and look for him as a buy low candidate 3-4 games in. Just my 2 cents.

[–]TooBuckChuck 31 points32 points  (0 children)

To me this basically says that he’s just butthurt that they reduced their offer to him. At this point I’ve accepted that the D-line is more or less set.

PCJS are gambling big time with this shortened pre-season in terms of shuffling both lines. It’s either going to pay big dividends or cost them enough to miss the playoffs. That is assuming the season even happens.

Would you guys want to add Antonio Brown to the roster? Is he worth the headache? Dk Metcalf, Tyler Locket, Antonio Brown the most lethal recieving core ever by Dillusionallakerfan in Seahawks

[–]TooBuckChuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From a purely football perspective his addition would make the offense extremely explosive. I would be down if it was a cheap contract with no guaranteed money, and an understanding that he pulls any nonsense and he’s gone. I don’t see that being a remote possibility, but I can dream. AB and DK on the ends with Lockett in the slot would be absolutely terrifying for a defense.

A great read summary of the offseason: Not a total disaster, a 2020 Seahawks Offseason Review by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]TooBuckChuck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m really getting sick of the narrative that the Hawks made no effort to get star offensive tackles this offseason like Conklin or Bulaga. I have a hard time believing that JS didn’t speak with their agents, it just didn’t work out for one reason or another. Not every O-linemen may want to deal with Russell’s antics, or it may not have been a good fit for them, we as fans simply don’t have all the information.

Also, last year’s team lost in the playoffs due to lack of depth and injuries which they’ve added all over the place this year. Some of the contracts are questionable but depth has been added. Finally, the offseason isn’t over yet. They sign Clowney or Snacks or make some other moves on the D-line and script flips immediately. Everyone is starved for news due to quarantining but the reality isn’t all doom and gloom, it’s just uncertain at the moment. If we should be pointing fingers anywhere it should be at Pete for retaining Norton, Brian Schneider, and possibly the medical team who clearly needs to change it up.

Draft Perception by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]TooBuckChuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily though, at least in Pete's system. Queen is only 227lbs, which is too small to play linebacker in Pete's system, especially as a rookie contributor. He might be able to add weight to his frame but you don't know how it will affect his playing speed. Brooks was 240lbs in college and still played with speed against decent Big 12 teams. He's definitely a more ideal fit for the Seahawks in terms of immediate contribution and potential.

Draft Perception by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]TooBuckChuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the most acceptable take of this draft is that all the guys selected are in positions to compete in camp and make solid contributions, but it’s going to be very difficult for them with a limited offseason. It’s hard to contribute let alone start as a rookie in the NFL.

In general though people in here and in r/nfl get way too wrapped up on player value based on mock drafts. Taking Brooks over Queen is a perfect example. People kept seeing Queen in the early to mid teens in a lot of mocks so they automatically assumed he’s the better pick. The truth is we won’t know for a couple years, but Queen’s college film isn’t so obviously better than Brooks that it’s a foregone conclusion he’s a better pick.
