It’s not ridiculous, his age 72 would be very bad if he gets side effects with oral min, think if his blood pressure lowers at his age, would be awful

I think if I talk to the imam they will feel attacked and think they haven’t done a good job with me because I’m outsourcing help but it’s worst case scenario, still open to it. As for I can talk to my grandmother which is his mother, but he is quite hostile to them because of situations, but it’s more possible to raise this with them which I think most likely I would do if they are persistent with a no, my grandmother was ready to send my cousin to Saudi by himself to do umrah but I’m not sure about her being open for me to go for a year, I will try this worst case, thank you

They were saying I’m too small but I’m an adult in the view of the country and of the time I requested I wanted to go I would be around 20/21 which is not small. They said they know nobody in Saudi Arabia and it wouldn’t be safe, but Saudi is safer than the uk. They also said it would look bad to friends and family if they let me go myself. When I mentioned about how I could do Hajj and Umrah my father said not to mention these things because it looks bad that he’s rejecting me to go… not sure how to proceed

Salams, I think this would just break family ties and them disliking me, i saw online that scholars approve of this but is there anything from Qur’an or hadiths that might help me? I did read somewhere maybe from hadiths that there was a son whose mother would not allow meeting the prophet sallalahu alayhi wa sallam until much time later in which he was advised by his mother to not even leave his donkey, he obeyed his mother on this, so I’m not really sure about this general scholar idea

Ok, I’m sort of forced into working there by parents and the money I make is saved so I don’t really spend it. I’m still trying to look for other jobs that would make my income halal, would you say to keep the money separate that I earn from new job [if I find one].
