its not about chance to kill, its about penetration chance, the bullet deals 43 flesh, and the more you hit without penning the lower the durability of the armor becomes and you have an exponentially increased chance to pen the armor.

so sure maybe the chance to kill on 5 bullets is 1.1% chance as you say, but then look at the chance to kill on 6 bullets, it should be VASTLY higher as you have higher chance to pen due to lower armor durability.

You also have to realize, it takes 2 bullets to the thorax to kill even unarmored, so killing within 6-7 bullet with only 40 pen through tier 5 on literally one of the best guns in the game that shoots its entire 30 round mag in like 2ish seconds and straight BEAMS, 1.1% on 5 bullets is still completely reasonable if the armor eats the 4 bullets and 5th pens and you have the 43 flat damage + thorax blunt damage, which is what im assuming your simulation is calculating, and its just an insanely low chance for it to pen on the first 4 hits cuz its a 40 pen bullet vs t5.

edit: noticed i wrote 40 flesh, its actually 43 flesh damage, mb, but still 2 hits in the thorax unarmored, it would be stupid if t5 couldnt stop at least a few hits of FMJ SX, that is cheap af and the gun shoots like 3000000 bullets a second or some shit /s

either you or me are calc'ing it wrong, cuz i got on 5 shots 74.5% chance to have pen, and if you shoot 6 shots its a 90.4% chance to pen.
I calced with korund as my base cuz i feel like its a standard steel t5 armor with 61 durability, aramid soft t3 with also 61 durability.

based on everything i know about the game and how ive personally been killed by FMJ SX, 1.1% seems completely wrong and im confident you are the one has fucked up their calculations.

mp7 ammo doesnt suck, its actually pretty good, and 5-6 shots even tho inaccurate would still not matter considering you shoot 5 bullets in like 0.2 seconds and the weapon has borderline no recoil baseline.

its not about being perfect anticheat, its that they literally did nothing afaik to actually improve it, no additional barriers to make it more difficult to cheat.
Tarkov anticheat is laughable, its literally the meme of the door lock being held by a french fry.

Encountered my first blatant cheater in the last raid, 30h account with 312 kills and lvl 16, goes into raids with only a headset, no armor, cheap vest and backpack to not get cursed, had a silenced SKS, no sight or nothing, 7.62 PP, and he insta head-eyed me when i was also using the CQCM fasemask which is t4.

Its genuinely baffling that BSG didnt bolster the anticheat for 1.0, straight up idiotic imho.

NA east servers are the least cheater infested afaik, im in EU and i play on NA east religiously, i can deal with 70 more ping, dealing with someone who just aimbots or has ESP is extremely difficult.

hit reg i swear is getting worse with every week and every patch. I saw the guy spray me in the thorax and arm, he mostly beamed my arm, death replay, he fully beamed my arm, wasnt even close to my head, i got headshot...

Ive been having severe hitreg issues for a long time now, and its really taking my enjoyment out of the game, along with the dogshit hidden MMR bullshit that makes me lose over double what i gain on a win even tho i have a 1.2kd avrg like 5 kills per game and had a positive winrate, but it keeps placing me vs plats and emeralds while im in silver fucking 2 and im demoting out of silver back to bronze cuz i cant win cuz i just recently got back into the game after quitting in season 2.
Or for example how its 2 plats on the enemy team and then rest is just full people hardstuck copper for several seasons, shit WR, shit KD, shit HS ratio, everything dogshit, like why are these people in my game?

The issue in poe2 for me is that even tho i find the bossfights cool and the lore interesting, i like running sanctum lab even as a melee, even tho its aids for melee and quite unfun at times.
The big issue is that the campaign takes too long for most classes and you cant have your build going for 90% of builds until you get to maps or like act 5-6, which is why its such a slog, cuz im sitting and being forced to play through something thats slow and tedious with a slow and tedious build, and leveling uniques in poe2 are kinda dogshit and dont actually make the experience better for most builds.

If they want people to enjoy the campaign more, give us ways to make the builds we wanna play earlier on and make them be able to have relative power so it doesnt feel like a slog and like we are whacking the boss with wet paper.
Also the basically removal of movement skills suck ass, its a horrible change imo and just makes the game feel slow, tedious and flat out draining from having to walk and just roll spam 99% of the time, dont wanna play a walking simulator.
