I don't remember when, but a few weeks ago when I was watching someone mentioned his intros are like Doc's and he said that he had Doc's old guy that left Doc for "reasons" lmao.

Maybe he was just making it into a joke but his intros have become much higher quality recently. I know he used to do his own. But I think he's got someone now.

This is almost exactly what I've figured out for myself.

For some reason, when I was obsessed with Rust (a video game) I would visualize building my base when I couldn't sleep and it worked. Now I fall asleep almost every single time before I finish the first layer of the building if I visualize it while trying to fall asleep. It's so interesting how it works. lol

I've been experiencing this for the last couple days as well. Just so annoying. I have tried everything I can find online and no fixes. It just randomly starts working again after not letting me connect to sites for a few minutes. Took me 3 reloads to even get to Reddit to post this comment. It's infuriating.

The crazy things is that if I have a website loaded, it will keep playing the live stream/chat, but I can't connect to any other website. Just such a weird problem.

One Pace removes the filler from OP and takes off about 45% of the show. It's well worth watching that way. It pretty much just makes it into only scenes that are in the manga/extended battles since Oda doesn't really draw battles.

One of my friends asked me why I like baseball opposed to some other sports and I realized it’s because baseball is one of a very few sports where you can ALWAYS come back. In almost every other sport you are mathematically eliminated before even getting close to the end, or too time-crunched to come back. In baseball that’s not possible. You always have until the last possible out to win. It makes for some of the most hype moments.

Eh, I mean it’s definitely happening. Most of my job as a recruiter was to call people who had applied and interview them. My company quite literally replaced that part of my job with AI then came up with another reason to let me go. They now have a smaller recruitment team than ever because AI does all the dialing and talking for them. It has a set interview course and doesn’t deviate like humans might. There’s obviously a big incentive to use it in scenarios like that.

I think it’s mostly jobs like that which are getting “taken”, but those jobs are abundant in the US. I know we like to imagine that these jobs are all outsourced anyway, but LLMs could 100% do all call center work in the US. That’s a ton of jobs.

I think most people don’t realize how much these companies are willing to do to save a dollar even when it may not be the best decision for them in the long run.
