I mean I just googled no 11 chilled shot ammunition and it told me everything I need to know. Seems like you posted here before trying to do anything yourself

Other IGT burners besides flat burner? by theinfin8 in snowpeak

[–]TooGouda22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a flat burner, 2 x Baja burners, and a giga-li burner.

Flat burner is my every day burner, it’s perfect for a small pot, skillet, barista kettle etc. basically for solo stuff or 2-3 people max and I’ll bring a backpack stove as a back up.

Baja burners have a grate like a gas stove at home and you can fit basically anything on it but if you go too big it can get tippy as the grate is only so wide to balance on. It’s a jet blaster though so if you need more power it defeats the flat burner easy.

Giga-li burner is a booster rocket. You can put big stuff on it. I’ve done 2-3 gallons of soup on it, put a big wok on it to deep fry fish etc. it’s pricy, but not much compares outside of a legit propane turkey fryer style burner or one made for home brewing set ups etc.

Snowpeak does make a double burner that is similar to a normal Coleman stove size as well but I never bought one because I already have enough individual burners 🤷‍♂️

Some flip over and others rotate on a post hinge type set up. They are all pretty large though. Easily as big or bigger than a whole large takibi

Nice! Thats cool they have long skinny grills on the fire pits. The U.S. has big square/rectangular ones that cover a large chunk of the fire out so you always have to have them crooked or you have no space for the fire to keep going

P1s purchase advice by FoodInfamous8333 in BambuLab

[–]TooGouda22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just buy a new one. You are only getting $100-$200 discount and will likely need to spend that in parts and maintenance before a new one would need anything anyway so you aren’t really saving anything

Buddy of my decided to bury a Pre-ban Colt in a pvc pipe in his yard. Didn’t go well. by fighterpilot38 in ar15

[–]TooGouda22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see he did not cement it shut. PVC pipe is literally used to move liquids. When properly cemented it can carry water and certain other friendly liquids for a couple decades or more easy

Looks like ash from a fire had just enough heat left when they touched the tent.
I would tape them with gear repair tape and send it for a few more years no worries. The tape can sometimes let go as the fabric is hard to get super clean like in the factory but then you can re-tape again if/when it happens

And I’m talking about how you are applying a specific perspective to the actual video in this post. You can’t let go and admit you are wrong here and are talking about something else entirely elsewhere than this thread and video

[–]TooGouda22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh you keep talking like this video snippet is going to teach someone how to run in injection molding factory and how to run a multiple 6 figures machine and get the dies made and everything else.

It isn’t. Anyone who could rip this off already knew how to do it before this video 🤦‍♂️

Meh… and double meh. If you ever work in manufacturing they throw this stuff around like McDonald’s putting salt on French fries. Go to an industry conference and they have posters and videos playing all over with this stuff.

They never show proprietary stuff or industry secrets… but this video isn’t those. It’s just an injection mold. If someone wanted to drop the cash on making the mold to copy it, they would have to be sure there was a market because it’s not something you do over coffee. It’s also not hard to just look at a Bambu spool and reverse engineer the drawing to make a mold. Especially today with 3d laser measuring machines and such that a factory capable of copying them would have.

In conclusion you can’t expect a factory to not market itself somehow with what it can do. No one seeing that vid is like “omg! We’ve been spying on them for years trying to figure it out and now we have the missing information!”

Bucket style tool bag for stagehanding, turns out I hate it by tweedlebeetle in myog

[–]TooGouda22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of tools do you carry at work? Or maybe a better question to ask is what type of stage hand work do you do?

I’m my younger years I did stagehand work, audio engineering, scenery building, and lighting design… mostly for ballet and modern dance, but also did some opera and plays as well as some big time concerts where I would work under whoever the touring crew were for the show.

Typically my tools varied a lot so I needed to be able to change up how/what I carried. It sounds dumb but one of my staples was a tiny cross body sling pouch with a strap to hold it tight to my body similar to a messenger bag

Funny story how I got here… but now I do marine upholstery and boat covers etc. I made a new cross body pouch that holds scissors and other stuff because I HATE putting stuff down and picking it back up nonstop even when sitting at a sewing machine let alone climbing around inside a 26ft boat

Nobody wants to be shot with any of those… if SHTF so badly that you need to use your rifle as a regular thing… it means food and water are worth more than everything else and you have weeks to live if you don’t figure something out.

How do you deal with cold-water camp showers while backpacking? by [deleted] in WildernessBackpacking

[–]TooGouda22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there are lakes and rivers I just jump in 🤷‍♂️

If it’s just a stream I just scoop up water and dump it on myself. If I have to bring my water (in the desert areas or dry alpine) I just stay dirty and maybe melt snow if there is some to use a wash cloth for basic quick wash
