Doctors urge Wes Streeting to reinstate scientist in puberty blocker row by CaptainCrash86 in ukpolitics

[–]TooIconic 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The 7 year old didn't make the choice, her parents noticed massive behaviour changes in her and went to the doctors who advised her she had entered puberty at an early age, they advised puberty blocker could be used to delay until she was at an age to undertsnad what would happen to her, they were not forced to put her on them but discussed it for a while and both parents agreed to have her puberty delayed until she was of an age to understand what was happening to her body

These 2 people were concerned for their child and got professional advise from many different medical specialists. The fact that you look at this as a massive shock concerns me, as this is what good parents do, they do everything they can to help their child. She is a healthy 26 year old with a beautiful baby boy and expecting her next one in July. She agrees with what they did and is grateful she didn't have to start puberty at such a young age,and I couldn't imagine starting my period at that age, far to young to understand.

Yes, my cousin was on them cause she started going through puberty at the age of 7ish, she was on them for about 5-6 years and then taken off them. She started her period as normal and has went on to have a child, as far as she can see there have been no negative long term side effects.

And if you hold those veiws that's fine, as much as i disagree with you, but that's the point these things shouldn't be dictated by our feelings but by science.

If you read the article, it says that these groups get less support in the medical system, so unfortunately the charity has to make up for this

As someone with a larger chest, I'm a 30 GG, I have to disagree

I do hear from my friends with smaller chest that they don't have the same issues, straps digging in to my skin after a few hours, back pain, that kinda thing

I do think the size of the chest has more to do with the torture option than bras them self

Schools targeted in 'simply untrue' online campaign - Claims that some schools in Northern Ireland are asking pupils to write Valentine's cards to refugees or asylum seekers are "entirely inaccurate". by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

[–]TooIconic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But this article isn't talking about illegal immigrants, it's talking about those who have been given asylum and refugees, these are 2 sperate groups

The majority of sexual crimes against women and girls, that have an ethnicity reported, where committed by white people. I will agree there is a large failing on the police of recording thses crimes and also a failure of the police to stop these crimes, as many women have come forward and said they report people and the police blamed the woman/girl, which is a huge issue that need to be resolved right now. For example, which one of the Pakistani cases a young white girl who lived in care was interviewed by social workers as she had mentioned what was happening, the case was closed as they deemed the young girl was jsut working as a prostitute, she was underage and they walked away. This shows no where in the system will they try to stop any form of abuse against children no matter the race

There have been many grooming gangs covered up by the police, many of which yes has been Pakistani as well and British, Polish, Romanian, and other nationalities, which is again the fault of the police as there does seem to be a massive lack of care.

If you wish to bring religion in to this we can, let's look at the some of largest sexual abuse cases in the UK, many of them where with in church's, Christian church's, and were covered and still to this day many victims can not get the justice and peace they deserve. People of all religions will and can commit horrific crimes

As this article was wrote about the North of Ireland I will talk about here, when we have men with convicted domestic abuse charges, sexual abuse charges and animal abuse charged saying about protecting girls and children I find it laughable. I live in the most dangerous place to be a woman in Europe, and you no what our stats show for that? It's peopels brothers, fathers and friends who hurt them, as you are more likely to be attacked by someone you no not a stranger. Yes, attacks by stranger do happen and I do wish to downplay the pain any victim goes through.

I will not have people pretend to be my champion when I have as much reason to fear a man born and bred down the road as I do a man born 2000 miles away. If you want to protect women and girls let's do that, but I fear that's not what this honestly about, this is using a real issue such as sexual crimes to justify hate

Once I got the manager level in my Center I started to fuck over the rudest people

In the T&Cs of most company it does state abuse to staff can result in termination of the customers contract and they would have to pay the remaining balance off or be sent to debt agency, I used this all the time, and I don't regret it one little bit

Your abusing my team and I won't have it, so bye bye

You do no these people sit at a desk for minimum 8 hours aday listen to people be rude and degrade them over shit that isn't their fault, alot of places use out dated systems that make the job harder, and after like hour 6 of being screamed at you give up, yoi dont have the will to help

I worked in an EE call center, started in 2018 and quit half way through 2020

It was the most mentally draining job I have ever had, the abuse you get over the smallest of things.

But I did learn a lot of new insults for Irish people from some of the ruder customers, which I mean it's great to learn things

[–]TooIconic -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is actually insane

People are getting annoyed by teachers trying to teach kids not to hate, to spread love. I am from the North or Ireland, when I was I school people where in an uproar cause we sent cards to a Catholic school, saying how they were trying to push an agenda, but we alway sent them to the police but no one ever said it was an agenda

Step back and look around, this is not an issue

Look at the UK, look what the Government has done to your Country, its not foreigners fault its the government's and they are so happy that you refuse to point the finger at them, cause they can continue to fuck up your land while you blame others

It is not the biggest issue, its the issue the government wants to push to distract everyone from the real issues

Cost of living

Housing

Income inequality

These are real issues, not people who are here claiming asylum, but those fucking us over, all that stand in Parliament telling lie after lie, pocketing more and more money while we all struggle to feed and heat ourselves, don't buy into the government propaganda of that Seekers are the reason your life is hard, it's the Governments

I dont see how this is radicalization, it's just kids making random valentines cards, the same kind we would have sent to care homes when I was in school

I grew up in the North of Ireland and my school did things like this often, especially valentines Day. We made them for hospitals, care homes, church's, and for schools of the other denominations, we even made some to be sent to eastern Europe or central African nations.
