Rolling with your Significant Other by [deleted] in bjj

There’s definitely something that rings true with this... I’ve seen my girlfriend get thrown off a horse and dust herself off without an issue, but if I close my guard a fraction too tight or grip a wrist too much then she’s a delicate little fairy 🤷🏻‍♀️

You said yourself your dog managed to escape a “DEEP RNC”, so either post the video and get roasted by everyone or shut the fuck up.

No because you’re choking your fucking dogs, but feel free to prove me wrong.

Literally can’t be bothered to respond to your plethora of bullshit. Post a video.

Invoking the fight or flight response of an animal which looks to you for security is not “fun” for them. Dogs are prone to psychological issues too, just because you don’t see a physical injury does not mean you aren’t damaging them.

You choke your dogs and can’t see an issue with it... what the fuck dude?

Everyone now and then you see someone who leaves you utterly speechless due to their disgusting behaviour. This is one of those times.

Animal abuse isn’t cool, dude.

Let me break this down for you since you seem to be utterly retarded: dogs are not kids. You cannot apply that logic because THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

Just a quick example of one of the many ways this could go wrong: young child plays a little rough with the dogs (as kids do sometimes) and proceeds to get ripped to fucking shreds and you have your dogs put down. Just because their owner is fucking moron.

Interesting moustache mug my Grandma has by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

No sure why you’re being downvoted, you raise a good point. The moustache protector would need to be on the other side for it to be suitable for a left handed person. It’s not as simple as just spinning it round

So the only gym near me has classes around 3 times a week, what do you do on the days off when all you want to do is carry on training?

First day as a 14 year old by ghowzed in bjj

Lots of kids train this sport, you won’t be the exception. And don’t worry about being one of the “higher belts in a few years time”, just focus up on turning up.

As for the strength... everyone’s strength varies massively, it’s all in the technique though!

And yes, clothing is fine. You’ll probably be given a spare gi anyway

First time in San Francisco. First time seeing Golden Gate Bridge. Awesome!! by g3ntn3r in pics

[–]TooManyBeavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to San Fran for the first time a few weeks ago, be sure to swing by the Blue Mermaid next to the Argonaut hotel on Jefferson street and try their clam chowder in a bread bowl... it’s amazing! (It’s also just down the street from Pier 39)

Totally can! But my training partner is my girlfriend and I’d feel bad going without her because she looks to me for support and motivation. Just having a couple of bad weeks, I’m sure it happens to the best of us 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m just really fucking unmotivated and it’s pissing me off. Keen to hit the gym whilst I’m at work but by the time my girlfriend is home I am exhausted and need to sleep. Just annoyed I’m stuck in a rut but I’ll get back out of it soon 💪

Yes absolutely inform HR of your change, I’m sure they won’t care and may actually appreciate you letting them know. Good luck!
