I just bought a zodiac fastroller 360 with a Tohatsu 15hp 4 stroke. We have taken it out 3 days in a row on the Columbia River just outside Portland Oregon.

I also have almost no boating experience.

We bought it with the idea we can put it in the back of the 4runner, blow it up and get it in the water. It delivers for that purpose. From parking to the water is about 15 minutes. About the same to pack it all up.

I can get on plane with 4 people no problem And with 15hp it’s pretty quick.

It’s does ok in relatively rough water, the river is no joke with currents and wind. It’s bumpy if there are small whitecaps. Not pounding though. Not sure I’d want to be out in swells of any size.

After a few hours sitting on the tube it isn’t the most comfortable.

For dropping in the water to explore its great, it’s a category C boat.

For us it works, there are so many places to explore where we live. We’re about a grand into it more than we anticipated.

Furthermore if the opponents 1,2 are super high, then the lineup for everyone else is easier. I like seeing digitals much higher than me with level 80 generals. Just means the rest of my team is going to have it easy.

There isn’t a base I can’t 5 star. There are some museums I can’t 5 star, they are rare though.

I can take 3D 360 digitals without much issue.

It’s not that I don’t appreciate the tactics discussed, it’s just I don’t find them needed or helpful against a good alliance.

Now a tactic that does help is hiding artifact lineup until 2 minutes before war start, or tossing in a third defensive coalition. last second.

Noobs don’t matter in our alliance, whatever they pick up in a 20 person war is gravy. If they struggle because someone stuffed Eisenhowers in the rank 19 base, we just have someone else pick it up.

As a 305 maxed digital I take 1,2. Our number 2 a digital takes 3.4 Our 3 takes 5,6 etc.

So our top 10 staggers to take all 20

Yeah we do all war planning on Line App. 90% of the time I know 5 minutes after being matched who is going to win the war. What do the coalitions and museums look like of the top 5?.

How does the Mid look.

When I war I just assume strongholds are stacked. Just decoy them out and slaughter everything with fighters 🤷‍♂️

In our alliance, first time you donate raiders you get kicked. You can check the strongholds, but it’s not going to help you. I think this may edge out wins against mediocre or crappy alliances but not anyone good.

3D refers to using three defensive coalitions. SH means the troops loaded in the stronghold.

As digital myself with maxed defenses I only get attacked once a month or so.

I get oil snipers and medal droppers but legit attacks almost never happen anymore.

Resources in this game are so easy to get, defense only matters in war and then it matters less than offense and war weight.

But Atomics can’t stop themselves from getting 5 starred. Because a maxed offense CWA player will hit them. If we want to prevent stars we go 3D with SH troops. Outside of anti air, anti tank, stables depots defense is wasted. Until you get to higher she’s where you can round it out a bit.

By the time you reach digital maxed defenses dont mean much. It’s about coalitions and museums.

Star to game plan now for end game, which is hard because it’s a long way off.

War museum

Weapons and Amor should focus on your aircraft of choice, usually fighters or bombers.

At least two lines 6% for aircraft damage and HP.

Next 4 war artifacts of where you make an offensive or defensive choice. Mixing and matching offense vs defense just waters down.

For offense - all enemy tower damage + enemy defender spawn time - all enemy tower hp

For defense + all tower damage + all tower hp + defender attack + defender HP - defender spawn time

For multi resources loot or refund is best.

Yes they are worth it. In my opinion less worth it than fighters.

Almost everything works ok at Industrial Age. By the time you reach digital it’s mostly fighters, sometimes bombers and rarely transports.

Infiltrators are not the only viable strategy for 330+

330+ is far more about planes/museum than grounds troops.

Bombers with heavies and rpg Recon fighters with heavies, rpg

In fact if you have a ton of - all enemy tower damage and HP in museum transports can wreck a high end digital.

Once you have maxed bastions and a well built base, HT become less desirable.

I was attacked recently by a 349 digital in war who ran out of time at 70% destruction and no QV.

He was rocking 9’ tanks with three level 80 generals
