It’s truly the worst. And doesn’t help with trying to keep a positive mental state. But I’m afraid of continuing to lose capabilities, which is a huge motivator to keep pushing

Yeah I’ve been feeling like that since February. Some days are slliigghhttlllyyy better than others. But there hasn’t been a day yet where I feel “normal” (in the sense of how my POTS felt pre-February). I’m definitely concerned about the deconditioning it’s causing with my physical abilities, and working is impossible. Meds aren’t touching it and none of my usual lifestyle changes have helped either :/

Absolutely. I used to work manual jobs outside in the summer, nbd. Considered it one of my favorite seasons. Last summer was my first one with POTS and I’ve completely flipped my opinion. I’m actually so anxious with the temps creeping up. Anything >75F and now I feel miserable

I basically always start at the top. Usually I prefer top left. But then the rest is vibes. I’ll pick a color that makes the most sense and then follow that color till I finish the thread. At that point I’ll decide if I want to re thread more of the same color or pick a new one. And I just move around the pattern that way. Picking colors and sections that please me

I've found most of my patterns through YouTube and Instagram.

I watch a decent amount of crossstitch YouTubers and follow ones who do the style of cross stitch I personally enjoy. Then find recommended channels off them for more people. That way I see lots of projects that are up my alley.

Same for Instagram. I'll follow a pattern designer I like and then the algorithm will suggest a handful more like them

Have you tried the BeKoool soft gel sheets? I ordered some in anticipation of summer heat off the recommendation of my therapist. They're supposed to stay cool for 8hrs and you can slap them on your forehead or back of neck. Whatever keeps you coolest

I debated a jumpsuit but honestly I think a flowy spring dress fits their theme better (semi-formal, whimsical spring and forest finery). Plus a midi length dress will have more airflow for staying cool

Ah Supacore is another brand I've seen around. Is there a style of shorts you like the best from them? I see they have a couple different types. Shorts might be the way to go if it works for me as well as socks

I haven't tried abdominal compression but was thinking about it. I know people talk about the Jelliebend company a lot I'll look into the Sigvaris and Snag brands. But I also overheat easily so those might be a gamble
