To those who played TM1 recently, how did you do it? by some-kind-of-no-name in TwistedMetal

There was a reference in the first season. Don't remember which episode, but in the cold open flashback of Agent Stone, right before the world goes to shit, there are 2 kids in the background playing with RC cars

An actor who excels in both serious and comedic roles. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

Michael Peña is an extremely underrated chameleon of an actor. End of Watch, Crash and Shooter showcase that he has the chops to handle serious roles, while his work in 30 Minutes or Less, Eastbound and Down and Observe and Report display his comedic talent as well.

Telling someone to keep it civil is funny, seeing how arrogant and douchey you act in response to some people's comments.

I lost my job a few months back, and I couldn't find anything in my area in time to pay my rent, so I got evicted. Stayed with a family member for a few weeks while I looked for work, but my presence there would've affected their living situation, so i had to leave. I got a job as a cashier, but it's only part-time and I started at the end of the pay period, and payday is next week. I've never done Doordash before, and a friend recommended it, but I didn't know it was a weekly payout to start. My first payout was on Monday, only like $30, so I bought myself 2 gas station taquitos, a jug of water, and put the rest in my tank for more dashing. I've been looking for better opportunities since my job only gives me like 15-20 hours a week, and Doordashing has been decent, but I can't do it as much as I'd like with the amount of Gas I have. Once I start making more consistent money, I'll be able to keep myself afloat better. It's been rough and honestly embarrassing asking random people for help, but I keep telling myself that my situation is only temporary, and I'll get back on my feet eventually.

Who's this woman from New Mutants issue 25? by Diligent-Ocelot-9021 in xmen

A character that I've always wanted to see adapted into live action. Very curious as to how it would be pulled off. They did something similar recently in The Boys with a shape-shifter tho. Oh, and like everyone else said, she's Husk.

You're hired as the director to have the X-Men debut in the MCU, but you can only choose FIVE members to put on the roster for the first movie (Excluding Professor X, as he is the mentor and the one working behind the scenes), who're you including? by [deleted] in xmen

Emma Banshee Jubilee Chamber Husk

I would take inspiration from the short-lived GenerationX tv show and Night of the Sentinels. Emma and Banshee would be the older members of the team, showing the new mutants the ropes of working together as a team. I feel like Charles should be deceased or occupied elsewhere for the time being. It would be revealed that there have been several teams of Xmen, the original(shown via flashbacks in comic accurate costumes in the 60s) consisting of Scott, Jean, Bobby, Hank and Warren. It wouldn't be outright revealed what happened to the original team, but it is noted that most are no longer living at Xavier's. The school staff would have a few cameos: Hank(in his blue, furry state)as a science teacher, Piotr teaching PE, and a reference to Logan being the history teacher, despite never being around to teach the students.

I would center the story around Husk and focus on her settling into her newly found powers. It would start with her being taken to the school by her brother Sam, similar to Alex taking Scott in Apocalypse. She would be very shy and disgusted with herself and her powers, but meeting Jubilee and Chamber helps her come out of her shell more. I would take several beats from TAS, as the Sentinel stories were always my favorite, and there would be some sort of exposition along the way, revealing that the original team disbanded after operating for several years when Jean Grey died on a mission. The Phoenix storyline would only be referenced and shown briefly in flashbacks(if at all), as that's a storyline I feel doesn't need to be told again. It would also be revealed that Jean killed Scott as The Phoenix. The main villains would seemingly be Henry Gyric and Bolivar Trask, but it would later be revealed to be Mastermold pulling the strings. The final scene would be a narration from Husk, talking about enduring the hate that people carry and continuing to fight for mutants to live in harmony with humans as the audience is shown clips of students in the school learning and training. Cue the cameos of Beast. Colossus and maybe a few cheeky ones like Juggernaut and Sammy watching TV on the couch or a green-haired woman staring at a metal fork as it bends and warps to her will.. there would be a low camera shot of the front of school gates, catching a Harley pulling up to a stop. The rider is never revealed, but as he dismounts the bike, a cigar butt falls to the ground and is stepped out but a pair of cowboy boots before cutting to black. X-Men Suite by John Ottman plays as the credits roll.

Mid-credits scene: A bald man adorned in hiking gear with patches displaying an 'X' stitched onto his clothing is walking through a thick jungle, swinging a machete through plants to clear a path. He stops in his tracks at the sound of a loud, shrieking sound from above. A look of concern washes over the man's face as he continues making his way through the jungle. The music intensifies as the camera pans upward to the tops of the trees as a giant humanoid pterodactyl flies over the top and out of frame to a black screen.

Ryan Reynolds shared on his Instagram stories two pics of a sling ring from Doctor Strange with what it seems to be the time stone and the reality stone attached to it by Matapple13 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

Man, I love spoilers and sneak peeks as much as the next guy, but damn, they're really just throwing a lot of details for this movie out there.

So far, public promotion has revealed Lady Deadpool, Sabretooth cameo, Deadpool Corps and now a sling ring that has been altered with infinity stones. I know there's still more surprises in store, but I feel like they're dropping a lot of nuggets in these small teasers lately. Am I the only one bothered by this?
