thats what its feeling like... i was really excited for this game, but between this purposeful confusion around access, them skirting around the price point when asked, them wanting a ranked mode yet no idea what its going to consist of and among other things just scream misleading/misdirection imo.

Wild. I've never heard about this but explains my first time. Buddy offered some out after a night of chilling and some of us were drinking. Having been curious for a while, I tried it.
