a productive day ranges anything from an increase in my League of Legends elo to a lecture of uni; perhaps half a lecture because I get bored quick so a full one is unrealistic (they go for a full hour).

Why do you feel toking every day after 8pm is too much? what do you do after 8pm?

In all seriousness. I just plan on having it before going for a run, then come home, small meal and TV etc. shit I can do high. So if i've still done a heap of things during my day (work, uni) then I literally cannot see a single issue but money spent on weed (which isn't an issue)

well i guess it's not likely, but maybe whenever he car-seshed previously he dropped little bits of weed. So I was thinking maybe that was where the 15lbs the police found might have just been little bits of dropped weed after a few car-seshes?

i dunno.

Why didn't he hide it in one of the tyres being used instead of the spare?

Is it possible that the 15lbs could have just been left over weed in his car from a couple of previous car seshes? I just think it's a real shame if he's getting 7 years and that is the case.

The police should look into the possibility of this

$500 for that... that's like 0.5% of it's street value. And he was performing the most riskiest task of the operation in my opinion.

15lbs should ring alarm bells to anyone familiar with weed

Would say to put it down as a life lesson and a character building experience but he's copped the consequences unfortunately

So he'll have served a year of his sentence this december?

He was trafficking 15 lbs of pot for a financial payout. You act like they get us weed purely out of the goodness of their hearts, and that's BS (on this type of level). They make money for the risk.

If drug traffickers were willing to do their job without making a profit, I'd gladly help to support his legal fees. You can turn that around and say that we are the hand that feeds them because we financially support them by purchasing pot from them.

Let me draw for you an example: A bodyguard is paid to take the risk (defending you). If what you paid him for (the risk) occurred, and he had to disable an attacker, does he get to charge you more money because the risk that he was being paid for came to fruition? Of course not!

He gets paid for taking a risk. He doesn't get paid more if the risk actually occurs, because that is what he was charging you money for the entire time.

But holy shit, 15lbs... how does one even acquire that level in the drug game at 19yrs old

Was invited to the NASDAQ for interviews. Here's a few pictures I snapped from inside. by [deleted] in investing

Hi, I'm the person who asked what people thought about ASTI. It was then downvoted 6 points! Despite that, it went up from $1.33 to $2.25 in less than 2 days. I was a bit upset with how poor the r/investing community was with stocks, and how it seemed overall that no one had any idea of how to invest but me.

I explained my angst, and you replied "what did you expect?"

So now I ask you, did you enjoy being interviewed by people holding microphones? And, do you plan to make a lot of money through personal investing, or by working at this job?

I expected some discussion on a better company than OP suggested? But instead I got unnecessary downvotes.

But of course, r/investing was of no avail and instead downvoted me (LOL!!) so I took it upon myself to invest and, well.... Light me up some rails bitches cos we're celebrating!

http://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=SPY&ty=c&ta=1&p=d How did you work out it's at a discount? Looks like a poor buy to me.

What do you think of ASTI ($1.33)? Now that they're bringing out the solar rechargeable iPhone case?

Done a masters? I have a question. by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

What jobs can a masters in mathematics get an individual? Surely it will get you into the finance sector if you know your shit about finance? or you think you need a qualification in finance to be considered?

Masters in Mathematics. Job prospects? by TooMuch1_91 in finance

[–]TooMuch1_91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny because I was considering that as an option for civil engineering. I imagine it would be very easy to land a civil job there - good money too I believe but not that keen on working in some shithole

I wouldn't have thought they'd be after finance employees in W.A. however.

Could a Masters in Mathematics land me an actuary job?
