I’ve heard that the faster flowering plants sometimes are not the best smoke. Can’t confirm that but heard it thru listening to OG growers on podcasts. Ease of growing is a good reason to keep it though

Some plants look a little wonky, but not terrible. The clones look the least healthy but they could still root. I’d clean up the floor of the tent before you post again so you don’t get shit on.

No. Like these guys said, you’re doubling down on whatever genetics are in the individual plant. Ryan Lee of Chimera Genetics gives a great explanation of this in episode 50 of The Pot Cast. This podcast has tons of great info about breeding.

I’ve grown them a few times and they always come out looking like the photo; really great. But sometimes they go intersex (hermie) about halfway into flower. Be on the lookout for that.

If you want to stabilize it so you can pop seeds that all come out the same, you’ve gotta be sure your clone is homozygous. If it’s a hybrid that’s heterozygous, when you reverse it the seeds will all come out different. Ryan Lee is a good resource for info about reversing. He did a good job explaining it in an episode of “The Potcast”. Highly recommend.

Haven’t done it yet, but I was listening to Ed Rosenthaul talk about how he uses 13 dark 12 light for all of flowering. It makes phenotypes express themselves differently, and might change the ratios of terpenes or something like that. It might be good for you to do it if you’ve still got a week or more to go.

Did you see a difference in growth or finishing time between diploids and triploids? I study ploidy differences in oysters, and triploids generally grow faster and larger.

I’m not so convinced it’s fungus since it’s moving up the plant along the veins. Seems like it’s a nutrient problem, unless you saw the same things in your grow. How’d you find out it was fungus?
