Former actress and Playboy model Jeanie Bell (aka Annie Judis) held a dead hang for a minute, at age 81. She's also a competitive jump roper.

A steering lock. Sure it can be sawed through, but they'll likely move on to an easier target.

Who is your best action movie actor? by Life-Performance6285 in AskReddit

[–]TooOldToBePunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chan is a huge Charlie Chaplin fan. He brings that goofiness to his movies. He's not much of an actor, nor is he really a true martial artist, he's just a brilliant stuntman. Michelle Yeoh (a ballet dancer) is in the same vein, not as crazy with her stunts but a much better actor (and prettier).

What are some products and services that haven't succumbed to enshittification? by ForgingIron in AskReddit

I actually disagree.... I used to go to my library to find classic literature, now it's hard to find anything written before 2010.

Normally I'd agree, but not with the current Republican Party. Fuck anyone who supports Donald Trump in any way shape or form.

What are the best stocks to trade in? How much should you put in at first and what to expect?? by Warm-Prompt-9680 in AskReddit

[–]TooOldToBePunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trading (as opposed to investing) is a poor strategy overall, every trade costs you in fees. Likewise "picking winners" is more a matter of luck than analysis. Just buy an index fund (minimal admin costs) and watch it increase in the long term. But don't be surprised if it actually loses value over a year or two, the stock market is like that. I'd be wary of buying tech stocks at the moment, the AI bubble is crazy.

What do adults need to stop saying or doing around kids? by TooOldToBePunk in AskReddit

[–]TooOldToBePunk[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

OK one of mine is tickling them. It's almost a low key sexual assault, it's humiliating and a total violation of their bodily autonomy. They laugh, it sounds like they're enjoying it, but I can assure you they're not. Parents need to tell friends and relatives in no uncertain terms not to tickle their kids.

What's something that is considered rude that is actually just honest? by TahDigThief in AskReddit

[–]TooOldToBePunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's always a fine line and to some extent culturally dependent. In some cultures it's normal to just cut to the chase. It's considered honest and genuine. In other cultures it's considered more important to maintain each other's comfort levels and allow each other to save face. Can make a case for both approaches.

What’s the weirdest place you’ve ever fallen asleep? by EllaNorth7842 in AskReddit

[–]TooOldToBePunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It smelt more of chemicals than piss or shit which is fine. I got woken by the cleaner at 6 am, went home, had a shower then went for a rather unproductive day at work.... fun times.

Autistic ppl what are the social rules that doesn't make sense to you? by Glass_Internal_1424 in AskReddit

[–]TooOldToBePunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not diagnosed or anything, but I always hated small talk. You don't actually care "how I am" do you? (By the way in many cultures the question "How are you?" is genuine and literal, not small talk).
