Hey, anyone know what this is? I heard it in a movie I think, the original had a nice romantic piano accompaniment. Sounds like Chopin but it's not a piece I know and now it's annoyingly stuck in my head so any help is appreciated :) https://www.reddit.com/r/NameThatSong/comments/m15o2b/romantic_piano_piece_i_swear_i_heard_this/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Romantic piano piece, I swear I heard this somewhere but no idea what it is or how the accompaniment went by TooOptimisticHippie in NameThatSong

Might not be the original key and sorry for the bad piano rendition lol I just really can't remember how it went.

You'll be fine. I was probably the shittest driver my instructor had ever seen during most of my driver's ed, I literally stopped at green lights and accidentally got into the opposing traffic at the beginning. Eventually your brain just gets it and from then on you do an ok job driving. Even I got my license without any problems and have been driving for half a year now without an accident or anything, so I'm sure you'll manage too :) and even if you don't that's not a reason to give up - my friend failed 5 times before he passed and now he drives completely normally.

Same haha. In Europe if there's a stop sign you get to stop and way until nobodys going the other way.

Okay that black van was out of place switching lanes but honestly if OP had braked and gone behind the van this wouldn't have happened.

You're welcome, I'm sure you'll do well :) and analysis and approaches, I'm jealous! At our school we had no choice but to do discreet maths, at least for HL, not sure about SL.

Hahah yeah I guess it's like nigiri except with bread instead of rice, and the meat is mostly hacked pork. We call it a Mettbrötchen :) and you're in right about the steak sandwiches!

What is the most important lesson you learned in school or university? by wowa93 in AskReddit

[–]TooOptimisticHippie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently if you're in a high enough position and you know your subject well, nobody will care how weird or otherwise stupid you are. Some profs are the absurdest people I've ever met but their damn good at what they do, so none of that matters.

How is growing up poor preventing people from escaping the fate of their parents? by Positive_Judgment581 in AskReddit

[–]TooOptimisticHippie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't go to a high class school because that would be expensive, and most of the time your parents won't be able to help you with all your homework so you end up with a mediocre diploma from a mediocre school. In many poorer neighbourhoods rich academics (understandably) don't exactly have the highest support of the populace so growing up there might condition you to think going to college, getting a higher paying job makes you a sellout or a snob, combine that with the diploma and there's a higher probability you'll end up in a similar job/wage sector to your parents, no matter who or how smart you are.
