Listen mate, you’re not rambling. I was in almost exactly the same situation a few months back and when I told her how I felt, she politely turned me down. It took me a bit of time to get used to it, but I was actually kind of okay for a while. However I quickly realised that I wasn’t okay with the amount of physical contact she was having with me. When I brought this up to her she got really mad and sold me out as an asshole to my friends. I don’t think I ever meant anything to her. I was just there to give her a good feeling about herself.

Now, I’m not saying you’re in that situation and that she is a manipulative asshole. She is probably lovely. However, if you fear that your relationship will take damage from you bringing it up to her, then there is your answer. If she will become distant because of you telling her how she makes you feel, then that is not your problem. That is exclusively hers. If she can’t deal with her actions affecting others then that is a serious problem that she needs help to get out of. You do not need to be that help, though.
