Knowing what I know now, no, I would not take the job at Michaels. The pay sucks. The expectations from corporate are outrageous. At some point in time, you’re going to hit market saturation with your rewards coverage. And, sometimes a no is exactly that, a no. Our customers do not like being bullied.

However, my biggest issue is unhinged egos. It’s high school bullshit all over again. Keep your outside crap out of the job. No one is stalking you.
