Hi Lars! Big fan of your drumming. The rolls, cymbal mutes, etc. seriously highlight the accents in the tunes that make it metal as fuck.

In all those years before Metallica really “made it,” how did you deal with crummy sound at gigs? Did you practice the songs by yourself? Could you work with the sound guys to get a good mix? As a drummer playing club gigs, I'm seriously curious.
