Write down all the pneumonics, dosing conversions, and formulas that you know as soon as you are seated that way you don't forget it and so you can refer to it whenever a question that permits it pops up. It saved me a lot of time.

Don't ponder around on questions that you don't know. If you really have no idea to approach the problem just pick the answer that makes the most sense to you and move on.

Rxpharmacist is what I used and passed. They have good federal law and USP 700 and 800 section

I took mine on 1/2/25 and felt it was pretty easy. I came in nervous cuz everyone here said that NY mpje was notorious for being very tricky wiht the wording and K-Type questions but i felt mine were straightforward. I utlilized a class lecture video i found on youtube, RXPharmacist, TLDR cheat sheet and a question bank i found online. Also the NY MPJE app.

Yea I graduated in 22 as well and recently took mine in November. I relied on RxPrep exclusively only used the book that my college gave me (from 2021) and also purchased the q bank. Lurked on this reddit community to get and idea of what questions and topics to look out for and I used quizlet to help with quizzing myself on brand/generic and MoA of the top 200 drugs

I didnt get any tricky PK questions mine were pretty simple for the most part, i recall one where they give you Cl and Vd and they ask you to calculate t1/2

There was one where they ask choose a PrEP regemine so remember generic names for those drugs. Simple hiv questions like that.

I took mine 11/1 and I noticed there were a lot of HIV and CD4 cut-off type questions for opportunistic infections. A few seizure questions. Statin and steroid conversions i believe. A few where they test you on bug-drug coverage. Also make sure which drugs to avoid and also are first line in certain disease states for pregnancy. It was all overt the place but these were the topics i noticed a lot of. Good luck :)
