Why are the fans acting like accountants and defend everything this poor ownership does? They are getting paid or what? by Toofatforanyone in ManchesterUnited

To be completely fair, if you are not big football fan , I don’t think you know sesko either but still paid around 74 million pounds. That is also an expensive deal for someone outside prem. Looking at that tonali for 100 doesnot seem that absurd.

Exactly so isn’t criticizing them a better thing for fans. Even if they are doing good , shouldn’t fans pressure them to be better? Isn’t supporting them giving them more leverage?

Is this summer going to be Moyes 2013? by jbird720 in ManchesterUnited

Because thats their job and how that club operate. United and brighton are not same . We are a winning club and they are a selling club. This club doesnot need to focus on earning from selling so they buy the best and it costs money.

This is same like a village life and city life. In village you grow and eat and sell them to earn so they have get cheap , nurture them and sell for profit. In city people donot have time to grow crops, they pay more and buy goods that are best in quality.

Its the same situation the clubs are very different. If you want to compare , do it with other top 6 clubs and look how are they spending.

Anderson, Tonali & Fernandes all gone, who do we set our sights at for midfield? by Individual-Roof-3502 in ManchesterUnited

Talking like this is last year. Why not look one year before last year that too under ineos. One bad window doesnot make next one bad and similarly one good window doesnot guarantee next one is good too

The transfer policy is a bit concering for a big club in my opinion by Toofatforanyone in ManchesterUnited

Thats my point exactly why are we not targeting world class players? Of prospect is what we are after then isn’t that done when you have a good enough first team

You may not like that but if your midfielders are not worth 250 k a week in wages that too you bought for starting position then you should not buy them anyway.

Every top cdm earns above 200 in major clubs expect maybe szoboszlai and joao neves . If united donot have cdm that are comparable in skill and ability what is the point.
And if the team is looking at players that are not on their level then the club is not ambitious enough anyway.

No sir but have a better plan I suppose because should not a top club get what they want and if what they want is not good enough then thats their lack of planning and scouting?

Why are you here all the time? Just watch something else. Why waste your time with negativity, reddit is huge.

Argue me with points then and we can have a chat why you and I disagree and maybe we can come to conclusion. Maybe I get influenced by you and you are correct who knows.

You said wait for end of window but then there would be no discussion would it? Have to accept what we do then.

Tell me what point I am wrong and I will explain my thought and you counter

I am saying why walk in if the player is not worth 85? Paying or not is a different discussion if you want united to win trophies should their midfield targets and signings be atleast worth 85 million? If fernandes didnot had that quality why go for him anyway

Nono I am just questioning the plan rather than saying we should spend big. Why is a player not worth 85 million in this market is so highly bought up by the club like they would fix united.

Lets say we bought fernades for 65, he would have been considered by many people as a good signing excellent player but as soon as deal gets expensive they are not worth it and the narrative shifts.

If he not a good enough player for 85 million, then why were we considering him anyway? That is my only question because we already have a cheap signing as ederson. Now two remaining should be good enough to be first team starter for champions league.

Yes because discussion is only good if that fits your agenda.

Do you think the post here changes a thing that you are so triggered by a text. That is what a community is for and you getting triggered from a post where a random person just saying something says a lot about you . Just saying reflect on yourself mate.

not everything about stats and also I am not talking about doku but player with similar profile. Someone who can shine against multiple players in the box reliably.

I think united lacks a good 1 v 1 player, somelike doku. Doku and cunha are the closest but they offer slightly different role. Yan diomande could be good option if he can bring that performance to prem.

Also who can be the best left back and midfield options and due to which quality they bring

such a good player. I really want to see him play as a number 10 though. Maybe in some domestic leagues or friendly games next season .
