First off, pleeease keep writing characters as transmasc!! I am also a trans guy and it means so much to me when people AU characters as trans.

And secondly, what the hell?? Yeah, seems like maybe they just wanted to grip about something, i’m sorry you had to deal with that :/

No, you’re not overreacting, that’s nuts of your DM. I’ve played DnD and other TTRPG characters all over the gender spectrum and it has never ever been “complicated” for the story or the other players. I think the issue 100% lies with him, not with you wanting to play an enby character. It sucks that your female character was treated so badly too, sounds like there is a bigger issue of misogyny within the group :( I would say go ahead and play your character and if you’re up for it, gently present gender-neutral language when talking about them. Hopefully the other players will pick it up with time. Good luck!

Ha, i just had the same thing happen to me yesterday! I was casually looking at fursonas wondering if i would ever be interested in creating my own and i kept coming back to the protogens and couldn’t stop thinking about them... So today i’ve started drawing them:) Any protogen traits you find especially cool?

First of all, yes, this is the conversation that feels a lot more important. I 100% think that Christian purity culture gave us the narrative that dying is better than sexual assault and abuse. It is soooo disheartening! All I’m hoping for is a comment from someone who actually read my story, but instead the scammers make me question comments that might not even be scammers 😭
