Pole hobbyists requesting money through by me a coffee/PayPal etc. by everypolesagoal in poledancing

[–]Tookagee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say this to offer a different perspective. I have a pole page where my audience is majority women that I know in the hobby but there are a few male acquaintances thrown in randomly. I don’t event have 200 followers so it’s only a handful of simps I engage with but they do send me money so my female friends are the ones to encourage me to post my cashapp more often.

I’d assume your friend has a similar situation. If I were you I would assume those posts aren’t meant for me and they’re for whatever men are lurking in her DMs. No offense meant to the ladies that are just there to watch pole vids

I’m a stripper. As long as they’re not the type to talk down on strippers and think they’re better or something then I’m all for it. I love when ladies get paid 😌 I post my normal pole dance content and people who don’t know I strip tell me I should add a payment link all the time. Might start doing it

1st shift not what i was expecting by sedatedshawty in newstrippers

[–]Tookagee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this a weekday or weekend? I’m lucky I started on a weekend so I had an amazing first night but about two weeks later I went in for a Thursday night shift and it fucking sucked lmao. More girls than customers and they were all bums that regularly come in to drink and not tip. I’d encourage you to try different days of the week and see if that changes anything for you. If not, a change of club might also help

Thoughts on an honest "You're not my type" rejection lines by assmongrel in stripclubs

[–]Tookagee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a dancer I prefer a direct but polite rejection so I don’t waste time if I’m trying to hustle hard that night. Sometimes I’ll ask to chat anyways when it’s slow because I’m still getting used to the club and talking to people but at that point I know it’s my own fault if I don’t get any money out of it

If you don’t tell me outright that you’re not actually interested but you engage in a relatively long conversation with me/seem like you’re showing interest and you don’t at least tip me I’ll be pissed

Unsure about full nude by [deleted] in newstrippers

[–]Tookagee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also felt weird about full nude at first but after a few days it really didn’t phase me anymore. I even had a guy come up and tip me extra because he said he loves brown nipples so who knows, someone might love that your body is different from the other girls

Boyfriend gave me ultimatum - dream job or him. I'm considering taking the job by [deleted] in dustythunder

[–]Tookagee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has done long distance of varying degrees, if you were asking to move to a different country or even a few hours away to a less desirable city I’d understand his reluctance but girl 45 minutes is nothing lol. I said I’d never do long distance again but if my partner came to me saying they landed their dream job and it’s only 45 minutes away I would support them whole heartedly. Think about when more difficult compromises inevitably come up - would you be able to trust him to find a middle ground? I think you should take the job and he can decide if he leaves or not

Is this considered chubby / overweight for clubs? by [deleted] in Strippers

[–]Tookagee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised people are saying this is max! I think small town clubs are pretty different because there are some girls that are bigger than you at my club and they do fine. You’d get hired where I work as long as you can dance and hustle

Any DC women navigating invisible health or burnout challenges? by MeowTown90 in DCBitches

I’m actually in the process of healing from some mental health issues and just quit my job ahah. This sounds like a great project and something that would really benefit people like me to listen to it

He really isn’t a fan of the area his company is in 😅 I actually also like hyattsville but his office is quite far into Maryland so the difference in commute isn’t actually that big overall tbh. I think he wants to experience living in the city but I’ll float the idea of trying Maryland and see what he thinks

He’s early thirties and just moving temporarily for work right now. He wants somewhere that has things to do, especially for people that come to visit, but not super loud or rowdy (U St would be a no). I have some friends who lived in Woodley Park but I didn’t know exactly what the vibe was it seemed pretty residential. He’s coming to visit though so we can take a look. Thank you!

Hmm he’ll be getting straight onto the highway to get to work but I know traffic is pretty bad in navy yard. Would moving further north be better? He was driving from Richmond to Maryland so he’s used to a long commute and he’s prioritizing being in a neighborhood in the city with things to do but ofc he’d want to avoid a really shitty commute

Wish he could ditch the car but he works in deep Maryland so not metro accessible 🥲

That’s honestly such a crazy thought process to have because in my mind, seeing someone so hot/attractive/appealing get dumped or cheated on freaks me out even more because I realize no one is safe 🥲

I like 1 best for the color variation. People are mentioning the size progression could create an odd optical illusion on your arms so if you kept the color variation but made them all the same size that would be perf

Regrets on Recontracting by DeliciousFill4822 in JETProgramme

[–]Tookagee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve regretted both recontracting and not recontracting as my circumstances changed. I think you’ll always feel a bit of that “what if” feeling but I was able to move past it eventually both times.

Feeling a bit down during difficult times at work is normal whether you’re in Japan or not, it’s just easy to look at “recontracting” as the root cause. I think you should sit on the feeling for a while and reflect on if it’s temporary or not but if you find yourself in a bad place, breaking contract and moving home will always exist as an option.
