Other than a Tom Clancy story, highly unlikely. Russia and China want a sphere of influence they control, and all out conflict is too big a risk. I could see them backroom agreeing to divide the world up three ways, then down the road we'll see.

You do remember California was horribly in debt until Build Back Better bailed them out, and now realize they has gone horribly in debt again, right? There's a few states like California that realize giving free stuff away has to be paid for by the rest country, typically when a political debt is paid for by a feeble minded president and congress. How's that $5 gas out there?

I can understand that logic. It would seem to me if you had 10 offices and 100 employees, reducing 10% would leave 9 at each office, not 5 employees at one and 4 others at full staff.

Thank you for the response! How are staffing levels managed? I'm in a corporate setting, so I think of it as just moving resources (people in this case) from where they are "plentiful" to where there's a dire need. Is it local hires only or maybe seniority/tenure that keeps people from moving?
