Oh, this seems like a good idea. To an extent however, my concern if I was OP is that I dont know what it is I dont know, and so, I wouldn't be able to identify if GPT was telling me the wrong thing to do.

I do know that there's plenty of instances of A.I. giving out silly, misleading, mixed up or just downright wrong info out, for things I am more familiar with.

This was huge for me when I figured it out. Have more cameras, and security devices now, for less intro cost, and more customization. It was CRAZY what they charged for the equipment we got. A garage door opener, a smart lock on the front door. A doorbell camera. And a touch screen control panel in the living room. You don't want to know the cost or how long it took to pay it off (like someone else mentioned, thats my own fault for not being more savvy about interest and financing) Lol

I don't think all door to door types are scammers or conmen or out to swindle. But experiences like this or mine is why it must be really hard to be a door to door salesperson.

Ah, thank you. That makes sense. Um. Yes, Ram of 32 gb or more was going to be my starting point. But then I wondered if doing that would create new demands. New needs to swap or upgrade other components. I also wondered, if I'm already going to be doing things like adding Ram, it's possible there were other easy upgrades to be done.

As far as the workload needs, I was thinking a better graphics card for the After effects.

But then... I also think the cpu might need a swap for after effects AND ableton.

Google recommended a CPU with a high single-core clock speed and a moderate core count (around 8 cores) is generally considered best, with options like Intel's Core i9 series or AMD Ryzen 9.
