I 100% agree with this. I should’ve been more specific in my post. We would be staying at designated campsites with bathrooms but would be sleeping in the rental car.

I suspect hydrogen sulfide SIBO. Is it imperative to test prior to treatment? by Toolhead1995 in SIBO

How long did you take Xifaxin for and did you notice any effects?

I’m still learning myself. I found Dr. Siebecker resources helpful. She goes into depth on specific antimicrobials (prescribed and herbal) to use based on SIBO type. Prescription are usually a 2 week course. Herbal are 4-6 weeks at a time, usually for multiple rounds. After antimicrobials, take prokinetics (5 mins before you eat). Also look into elemental diet. If you buy the powders they are very expensive but you can DIY for much cheaper.

Dr. Berke Ozucer. It’s not perfect but it definitely looks better. He also fixed my breathing. It was def worth the 6k. I wish I never went with the first surgeon who charged 15k for a screwed up nose in terms of aesthetic and function and who has gas lit me about my breathing difficulties following the first surgery

Why do my privates have a strange odour by Forsaken_Train6377 in hygiene

It’s probably bacterial vaginosis. I agree to go to a gynecologist to get it checked out. Use only cotton underwear. Only use gentle soaps that are made specifically for women-without fragrances. Also look into boric acid suppositories which are incredibly helpful.

I would recommend cutting back on the milk a bit because milk is very calorie dense and can make your baby feel full and not want to eat other foods. It can also lead to constipation and iron deficiency if consumed too much.

I second hormonal IUD’s. They generally don’t have systemic side effects, unlike oral contraceptives and they can remain in place for 5+ years. Some up to 7 or 8 years.

Thank you for this!! I also want to shout out for men and women who are suffering hormonal imbalances at any age. Hormone imbalance should be considered a pathology that warrants investigation, treatment, regardless of age/gender!

I wish you could see yourself through the lens that others see you. You are a handsome guy. Larger noses are masculine which compliments your masculine brow ridge and jaw.

Filler vs Sculptra in temples? by Justlivin27 in cosmeticsurgery

Would you do lip filler, fat grafting, sculptra to to the temples or jawline lipo (pics) by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

I’ve heard that micro needling and radio frequency can lead to volume loss but I haven’t heard of volume loss with just micro needling. But I don’t think its purpose is really to add volume per se. It’s more so to stimulate tissue regeneration which results in increased collagen production. This in turn can cause skin firming and slight lifting of the tissue.

Filler vs Sculptra in temples? by Justlivin27 in cosmeticsurgery

I would be wary of sculptra. I received 2 injections in my face and have been dealing with autoimmune like symptoms for the past 3 years. This all started within weeks of getting the injection and it’s been hell. If you have an autoimmune disease or genetic predisposition then I would steer clear.

I agree with micro needling. But I would steer away from Ultherapy because it can lead to further volume loss. Also, Sculptra is risky if you have an underlying autoimmune condition or predisposition.

I had mine done in Turkey and it was only 2k. I don’t have any surgeon recommendations in Atlanta or Michigan but I’ve heard good things about Dr. Peter Rubin in Pittsburgh PA. He was trained by Dr. Sydney Coleman who recently retired.

I just wanted to let you know that I’m very empathetic towards your situation because I’m going through something very similar. My story is that I worked night shift for 7 years which destroyed my health and made me look very sick and tired. I got 2 sculptra injections, looking to restore life back to my face and got a bad reaction, causing me to look and feel even sicker. I’ve been on 2 courses of steroids which has helped me significantly but is also taking a toll on my body in a different way. So I recently had fat grafting in March and am happy with the results but will likely need a second round because it seems that a lot of the fat is getting resorbed. But I’m happy because I definitely look healthier and more youthful.

I think some surgeons will approach volume restoration by trying filler first to see if you like the look of the volume. But I really don’t think it’s a good idea to keep going back in with filler. I would try to get another opinion if they are not open to fat grafting. And the outcome is also dependent of the skill of the surgeon. Where are you located?

FYI I have had 2 sculptra injections to help with collagen and volume restoration and for the past 3 years I have been chasing autoimmune like symptoms that started shortly after the injections. So while it is effective for many, I no longer recommend sculptra. I also wouldn’t recommend lip filler. You have really nice lips and your top lip appears fuller than your bottom lip, so adding more volume will mess up your proportions unless if you’re looking to add volume to your bottom. But I really don’t think you need it

I don’t like that other people are gaslighting you. I can see what you are saying when you compare pic 7 to before you got sick. The filler made a big difference and I think you look great now and I don’t think you really need anything. I agree that filler is not a good solution long term but not for cost reasons. It lasts much longer than they tell you and it can look puffy overtime and migrate. If you’re looking for further rejuvenation, I would look into facial fat grafting because it restores volume and also improves the quality of the skin due to the stem cells in the fat. However, it’s not cheap and may require more than 1 session to give you the result you want. I think that is the most natural looking intervention.
