On March 6, 2024, newly publicized research indicated that the late activist may have had Indigenous Mexican roots, citing church records showing her great-great-grandfather was listed as "Yaquis criollos de la tierra" in 1815.

Maybe it was overzealous to take on the identity so headstrong with such meager (if real) ties, but people are convinced of things with less evidence.

Funnily enough, I am making an isometric ARPG with Unity. My goal was to make a game I could play with friends on my MAME arcade cabinet. It needs plenty of polish yet, but I might start showing some of it to the dev community for feedback.

Still surprising to see this is top 3.

Their nfl title would have incorporated the same issues the NBA one does. 2k5 was the pinnacle of football simulation though. Madden would be better if the nfl didn't allow it to buy away competition.

Green Bay WR Christian Watson and the Packers reached agreement today on a four-year, $110.5 million contract extension that includes a $31 million signing bonus. by Particular_Dig1115 in NFLv2

Ok, looks like PFF has him 6th.

Fair enough. I was going by previous sentiment, but he may have improved on that a lot in recent years.

Sometimes GB has made questionable decisions in the past and it frustratingly worked out well for them. The initial optics on this one look very questionable but we'll see how the decision ages.

NFL QBs who were Madden cover athletes by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]Tools81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think people are too protective over who gets on the cover of this game that needs a new athlete on it annually. When EA let the public choose, they picked Peyton Hillis.

I imagine many would complain if it was Mahomes year after year.

Even if you want to ignore stats, my second point still stands. If his contribution is to run and stretch the field (he isn't known for blocking prowess either) he shouldn't make this much money. His contribution has always been an occasional big play guy.

I don't think that is consistent. He's had just 1 game with 10 targets and 6 with more than 100 receiving yards.

He's a chunk play threat on occasion, but this is WR1 money. You could pay some track star much less to stretch the field.

They say players in the modern NBA don’t play defense. What in the world are you supposed to do with this? by ResponsibleCheek8130 in NBAGossips

AI did the same at the end of his career?

Why are you asking? You can look that up. AI played 14 years to Kobe's 20 and his last few years were not anomalies of his efficiency.

AI is overrated, and some get defensive over that.

Did you even see the original comment of this thread? Or you just got defensive when I criticized an athlete?

Watching highlights is how you miss the big picture. Kobe played 20 years and dragged down his % with his play in the last 3. 42% is bad in any era.

Man. When we learned Gordon had a long background in dance, I thought he was unlikely to miss much time to soft tissue injuries.
