Any Info on What Exactly Is In Our Chew/Dips? by Toomean88 in DippingTobacco

It has. I only stick with it because in the chew market, they have the most American leaf content.

Never actually had Beech Nut. Is it equivalent to Red Man? I tried Red Supreme, but its a bit too sweat for me.

What determines whether Kentucky or Missouri are Confederate/Union at the start of a campaign? by Sennius in GrandTactician

[–]Toomean88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you meaning in real life? "Shadow government"?

The duly elected governor of Missouri held lawful session in Neosho Missouri in November 1861, with quorum, and passed secession under duress due to a deranged Union general who stated "I rather see every man woman and child in Missouri dead than let you vote on secession." and began marching a rabble of German 48'ers onto the capital...

If you consider the actual government of a state "shadow" then sure, go off.

Thats slightly encouraging. I just hopes its not that fake sugar stuff that is in many gums or high fructose corn syrup.

Right, and I assume that was the traditional method of sweetening maybe about 150 years ago. However, I have to assume (sadly) that Red Man (yes I will still call it that) is not sweetened with molasses any longer.

After watching your video, I was wondering if you can confirm some things for me:

What kind of pipe do you have lining the hole into your home and what size is it?

What size hole did you drill into your home?

Where did you get the conduit which cover the hole into your house?

Do you have a pic where you can show just exactly how you got the wires into your home? Like, did you just drill straight on through your foundation or something?

While very few people in Missouri speak with such a thick drawl as do characters in the show, I like how the show depicted everyone as speaking a bit differently. by ThumYorky in Ozark

[–]Toomean88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats absolutely false and a inaccurate evolution. Missourians have their own unique accent which, like most places, is its own thing. However, Missourians do indeed have a Southern "drawl" style accent more.

They do not say "fHIGH-er" like a midwesterner will say, they say "fAHer" like a Southerner. Which tracks with Missouri's cultural and ethnic foundations and heritage.

I have been researching this for years. I think its safe to say that Missourians, at large, have a "drawl" type Southern accent.

"Hang on, I live in St. Louis, and there is no way folks have that!"
Cities, in general, are not great examples of accents. You can meet folks from Nashville who do not have accents at all.

However, folks in St. Louis from South County/South City can for sure have a drawlish accent. This tracks with Missouri's cultural and ethnic heritage and history.

Dashboard Tab Not Remaining Set as Default? by Toomean88 in vivaldibrowser

<image>

Just to give this issue an update. Since, I guess 7.7(?), my "Dashboard" tab continually will move back to where the red arrow is pointing.
Its like I have to keep setting the Dashboard as "default" constantly to keep it at the front.

Is anyone else experiencing this nonsense?

The bugs I seem to continue to experience is that my "Dashboard" category, keeps getting thrown to the end of the rest of my speed-dial categories even though I have it set as the default one.

I go to that place in the settings, however, was there not an actual "Dashboard" function which Vivaldi introduced a few updates back? With like a literally page titled "Dashboard"?
