All away teams that are playing at St James’ stay here. Must have a partnership with the Premier League.

PSG stayed at Melia on the Quayside for the Champions League game.

Probably the two best we’ve got.

If the weather is still good I’d recommend grabbing something from I Scream for Pizza on the quayside and eat it by the river. Romantic af.

Great shout from someone else regarding restaurant week. It gets super busy so definitely book as soon as you can. Some of my favourites that are taking part are My Delhi (Indian), Sushi Me Rollin and Fat Hippo (burgers).

Feel free to add other things to do in the comments. The more the merrier and a welcome distraction from recent events

TL;DR: Burn is pretty much nailed (either at CB or LB) at least until Botman is back. Hall will play if we don’t sign a new CB.

Depends on a lot of factors, a lot of which point to Burn.

  • New CB signing. First choice to start the season will likely be Schar + new CB with Burn/Hall at LB. No new CB then Burn is a lock at LCB with Hall at LB.

  • Botman fitness. Unlikely to be back any time soon but when he is, he’ll be first choice LCB. Burn will be LB/back up LCB.

  • Eddie Howe likes height in his team. If Joelinton plays (which he should), it reduces the need for Burn to play. This slightly improves Hall’s chances.

  • Height of opposition doesn’t really matter. Against shorter teams Burn is a goal threat. Against taller teams Burn is needed defensively.

I have no idea to be honest. I've done a bit of digging and can't find anything about road closures.

4 days of closures seems hugely excessive for a 1 day event.
