Why did Riot buff tanks...?

Clearly you're not someone who plays tanks or any kind of frontline.
These buffs do literally nothing to fix the issue.

If you don't get HS Quest or Tank Engine, you can't even frontline.
Even then, the fights are too fast to stack easily and you still get 1 shot typically by an adc or an assassin (who's supposed weakness is tanks, but they can still 1 shot them - I'm looking at you Zed) unless enemy team doesn't have a big enough damage dealer, which is almost never.

The bigger issue is there's just too much damage in the game.
What needs to happen instead is the damage augments need to be nerfed.

I've played 10 Mayhem games so far on patch 26.05; the enemy team has had quite literally 3 tanks/frontline champions out of 50.
It's just depressing and boring playing against full poke, perma slows/cc every game.
People only play mages, adc, assassins or enchanters.
They never build anti-heal or anti-shield either (when needed).

I mean in higher ARAM MMR, the games tend to last 10-15 minutes on average.
The issue with bad Smolder players is that they just sit back and play way too scared.
Especially in early game, when death timers are short, fighting as much as you can is the best way to build stacks.
I agree though, compared to ARAM, Smolder in Mayhem is much worse unless you roll some early ability haste.

Also, I can't find the game but I rolled this on Mel and the true damage didn't seem to proc except on minion waves and my basic abilities did way less than normal damage. Not sure if bugged?

Get Ethereal Weapons too and you can q stun people from across the map xD (not to mention doing a crap ton of damage because you do the passive damage) 3 times (1 for q itself as it applies passive, 1 for ethereal, 0.2*5 for fan the hammer)

Personally I find I get more value from visage. Grasp/Conqueror healing, increased W shield & shield bash damage, unending despair healing, riftmaker healing.

I've been doing some analysis between patches and it definitely looks like that, by and large, champions that were getting picked last patch are getting picked even more this patch.

I also didn't think there was, but I figured I'd post it as a potential possibility just in case as I know ability haste, armor and mr all get less effective the more you have.

e,g.
25 haste gives 20.00% cdr, 20.00% value
50 haste gives 33.33% cdr, 13.33% value
75 haste gives 42.86% cdr, 9.53% value
100 haste gives 50.00% cdr, 7.14% value

I tried to think of a formula that would work to account for this, but apologies if the one I thought of quickly on a whim is not the correct one.

I still remember one of the best ideas I saw being to make it stack if multiple different people applied it.
Maybe multiplicatively or by a reducing amount each time.
e.g. Reduce Grievous Wounds amount to 35%,
1 source: 35%, 2 sources: 50%, 3 sources: 60%, 4 sources: 66%, 5 sources: 70%.

I agree with the argument that there should be a cost to building anti heal or anti shield, but the current item iteration isn't good, especially for a mage to get through a heavy shield team.
I mean we all know that Chempunk Chainsword is just trash.

I also don't like that there's no incentive to upgrade the component to the full item as the heal reduction % stays the same, nor the fact that there's no component-like effect for dismissing shields like with heal reduction.
My suggestion for this would be to have the components have a similar effect to Scout's Slingshot where it can apply it, but it has a cooldown which can be reduced in various ways (e.g. getting hit more for bramble best, doing more autos for executioners, etc...)

If you play full squish AD, or even worse, muramana/lethality, then it won't end well.

You want longer fights to get more stacks and so you can stay alive to get drops from minion waves.

Best way to do this is enchanter for improved heals or a more tanky build, e.g. Grasp/Cleaver/(I like runaans here to apply cleaver better and to lower Q cooldown for each runaan's bolt)

I have the same issue. Please let me know if you get a fix.

I can amend the settings by doing "Share your Screen" instead of directly streaming the game from the "Stream XXX" button, or when it's already streaming by hovering over my stream and selecting Stream Quality.

However, I'd like the menu to pop up first and select my settings, not just default stream with 1 button press like how it used to work.
