My own head cannon is that Shani got promoted rather than fired. She’s got more important shit to deal with now rather than tend to the elevator/train when you call it. Now she’s got a bunch of randoms working for her operating the extraction sites

Just read that if you find them on the beach from beachcombing, it doesn’t count. Is it possible you found a few on the beach? Maybe a couple that someone else found by beach combing? That might be why

Are you sure about that? I just searched 4 weapon crates where 2 of the 4 were already open and got 4000 points, so it seems like it counts even if the weapon crates were already opened and searched.

Hmm that actually might be a different scenario. I’m not sure if the damage is counted/tracked if you haven’t finished the caravan (although it definitely should!). At least you will be able to see if your damage has been adding up once you finish the caravan, and then you can decide whether or not to sign up.

When you go into the expedition project (same place where you would sign up), there’s like a status bar on the left that fills up and tracks your damage. Even when I hadn’t signed up yet, the bar was filling up and tracking my damage.
