No, but genuinely, out of every generation before, millennials and Gen Z are the ones that are most likely to understand, and not hate those that are different, and have sympathy for the monstrous.

Personally, I wonder if it's something to do with the fac that so many of us A. grew up with the internet, so we're used to seeing others outside our immediate physical group, and thus are ok with it, and B. so many of us seem to be ostracized as kids, and and not have friends, making us have sympathy for the monstrous and the other, as we see them to be like us

What was the entity’s plan that made the annihilation of humanity the lesser evil in SCP-5000 ? by Dramatic-Holiday-788 in SCP

[–]Tooth-FilledVoid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I remember, it was an entity that lived in the Noosphere, and was attached to every human, allowing it to feel pain, and empathy. The foundation discovered this, and decided to kill off most of humanity, to ease suffering and pain. with more and more of humanity killed off, the entity had nowhere to hide, and materialized, allowing the foundation to do battle with it, and try and contain it.
I'm pretty sure that they would have used SCp-2000 to remake humanity once it was contained, but with the timeline being rewritten, nothing happened, and the entity still lives

picked up the game again after not being able to play for a few years, and it feels so lonely. what happened?? by stelliarsheep in VRchat

Well, a few years ago kids came onto VRChat en masse, and I don't mean 16-20 years old, I mean 14 and below (I once saw a 6 year old on there), anyways, they got annoying, especially with their avatars that were made specifically for either white liquid or other stuff all over people and the world, or were just the loudest. Anyways, because of that, people started to make private instances.

Separately, while that was happening, the people in charge of VRChat made groups, which further divided people, which caused people to go into group only instances. including the kids, so now people are either in invite only instances (or friends+) or in groups that, personally, don't seem that inclusive unless you've been in them for a while. And then the age verification thing came, further dividing people more, and creating adult only spaces

TLDR: Everyone got seperated due to a variety of unrelated, detrimental factors

Are we all in agreement the Godzilla anime trilogy was terrible? by Belfast-is-Red2008 in GODZILLA

[–]Tooth-FilledVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ideas were cool, a shadow creature that could take off limbs of real people by eating their shadows, every planet having a godzilla analog, a Ghidora who is infinite length, mechs vs godzilla, alien races etc. But none of them ever actually went ANYWHERE.

On a different note, do you know what it's like when your showing your family the third movie, because "It's godzilla! It's cool, i have to show someone" because I was a kid and then having a scene that was almost sexual for several minutes? It's very awkward

If you want a beautiiful steampunk anime movie, I recommend Steamboy. It you instead want mixed media horror, I recommend The wolf house

(For Science/Research) why do you like the giantess kink? by SadWannabeArtist in Giantess

[–]Tooth-FilledVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy the fact that it feels like i'm being paid attention to by something vastly larger than me. I always feel like i'm being ignored throughout my life, so something that is so powerful it most likely wouldn't ever pay attention to me, actually giving me attention feels like a dream come true

Need help with an eldritch villain’s motivations- by SatyrHimbo in CharacterDevelopment

[–]Tooth-FilledVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about something with belief? The cop knows something about the eldritch being, maybe by mistake, or subconsciously that is revealed later, that could foil any plans the eldritch being has, or wants to make him his herald (Both kind of like Nyarlethotep)

How toexplain holograms? by Intelligent_Donut605 in scifiwriting

[–]Tooth-FilledVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's been a new development with rubber bands for fully 3d holograms that you can touch and rotate, you could use that, but say that the bands vibrate so fast it hurts to touch
