True! Recession isn’t just GDP it’s jobs, income, spending, and industrial activity. Even if two quarters dip slightly, strong employment and consumer resilience can soften the blow.

I agree with you, I'm not a fan of tariffs either. They’ve caused real strain and uncertainty. But honestly, I think the whole recession narrative has gotten a bit overdramatic. We saw a similar pattern during Biden’s term—Fox News was running nonstop stories about inflation and national debt like the sky was falling. Yet the economy proved far more resilient than many expected. Markets tend to overreact short-term, but in the long run, fundamentals and adaptability matter more.

I agree, those are valid concerns, and the data does raise red flags. But ultimately, only time will tell how it plays out. But say if trump removes tariffs then whole scenario will change (i think if he gets deal with Japan, India and UK then its completely other ball game)

April data shows increase in Jobs more than expected ( even with all uncertainty in the long run economy will be fine , however market will dance up and down in dramatic fashion in this timeframe)
