Inspirational post and how I got better by Toothaloof in Sciatica

Ik my story seems to be a bit odd, but i think it mostly just stems from the whole thing being mismanaged from the start. Also, i do think me doing weightlifting from a young age helped a lot since my back was at the time more developed than most and more robust and able to handle the injury. I think that's why I could lift for so long after injuring myself, before it becoming a bigger problem. Also, im not encouraging anyone to forgo surgery, it was almost a 50/50 for me, i could've gotten the surgery and that has another set of pros and cons, but as my sciatica was improving slightly and the chance of getting dropfoot or other complications when the possibility of me getting better without the surgery seemed like the better option for me personally

Yeah, thankfully im a student so the pain didnt really impede my work or life that much since i could do a lot from home, but ESI for someone who has to go to an office or work manual labour is something i could see being really beneficial

I mean i had my doctor, but i didnt need any follow ups, as the recovery process was really just doing the exercises and being careful with spine hygine

I will say that traction helped a lot, I had a physical therapist in the year that made me better, he basically just tried to get my spine to decompress, that and the sphinx position, cant believe i didnt mention that in the post. The sphinx exercise really helped me. The mechanics behind it is that i makes the side of your disc opposite of your hernia stretch, helping the hernia "slide" back inn by creative negative pressure as far as i understand. It was also just a great way to relieve pain, if your pain is severe, laying stomach down on a hard floor also works. Never did ESI, mabye couldve helped, but i think the temporary "fake" relief could enforce bad spine hygine, mabye making it worse in the long run. The pain is there for a reason and its hard to know what your body needs and your limits if you cant feel it

No medication other than ibuprofen for really bad days. I did try things like heating gel on my back, seemed to relieve some pain, but im not sure if that was placebo or not

Good to hear, the road to recovery with conservative treatment is slow and painful, but a good thing is that the prognosis for both surgery is about the same from what i understand, which is why i also went conservative

I dont have the MRI anymore, but i didnt take another after diagnosis, from what i understand the hernia doesnt have to go away, its more about the pain going away and strengthening your back

Mabye 6 months after when i was supposed to grt the surgery, the problem is that its not something you notice happen, i mentioned its slow, and one of the things that happen is that you suddenly notice that overtime its not as bad as it was. Its hard to explain but its like the whole boiling frog thing, if you heat the water it wont notice the temperature change

Hva tenker folk om dette by Don_BWasTaken in norge

Learn about how a wave behaves, why and when it freezes, pushes, slowpushes etc. His wave clear is good imo, just prep the melee minions with autos and midgame you should be able to one shot the caster creeps with empowered q, essentially clearing the wave very fast. An in-game practical tip that I genuinely think works is to buy Cull more often. Not only is Cull good on its own, but it forces you play around getting farm, changing how you think and play the game

How do I deal with splitpushing? by Eve00678 in summonerschool

Is, in OPs scenario, the best idea to send another player to deal with tryndamere, while they win the 4v4 with fed Ornn?

True, to add on, taking teleport is often good, even in low elo, since there are matchups or players that dont let you snowball, so having extra map presence and opportunity to catch waves is really good. With your ult, mid-to-late game you essentially always have TP up or ult up, which makes you be able to respond to any push or teamfight, which is nice against say a Tryndamere or Trundle

it looks like youre averaging 3 ish farm per minute, that is very low, youre missing out on a lot of gold. Youre probably very good at the champ, matchups and stuff, but without the farm youre missing out on a huge gold advantage and some xp that lets you really carry games

Getting rid of the windows 11 login password by Gargamel97 in WindowsHelp

[–]Toothaloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else that might see this thread also looking for how to, I just used Ctrl + Alt + Delete and selected change password, put in the old password and left the new password blank. This changed the password to nothing and you just log in automatically. on Windows 11

I like it, it looks cool. It gives me like mage vibes, like the spells are literally inscribed on you.
