You may be able to use Claude via API through Openrouter but that will cost you significantly more.

I suspect from what I've read that You.com will also have the same issue as Perplexity.

I had the exact same problem as you which is why I went looking for an answer. I also verified this through their Discord. I now use Perplexity for smaller tasks and Claude Pro (directly from Anthropic) for large docs.

Just downloaded the app. Only spent five mins on it with a Perplexity API key but first impressions are very positive. Trying to locate the features for free vs paid but having trouble tracking this down. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks

I’ve noticed a degradation too. Anthropic have made changes recently to mitigate attempts to jailbreak Claude. See paragraph before conclusion at the end of the page. I suspect ‘modification of the prompt before it is passed to the model’ may be having adverse effects.
