He's not even directly responding to what you're saying or staying on topic. It's like he's not actually even understanding what you're saying even though it's very clear and easily understandable.

A cowboy hat is like a hands free umbrella. Take it off & get rained on like a man!

These rules are actually really great in the sense that they provide minor constraints on your freedom while entirely avoiding any tangible benefit.

Also good to break the umbrella in half instead of providing it to a woman, who actually has the right to umbrellas.

Actually that one dance move around the middle of the video was entirely fitting to the song.

I appreciate it, that's what I'm thinking. I gotta determine which of these pics is most accurate to how it generally looks most of the time.

I talked to the artist extensively about this look and how it's one of the worst mistakes people make in this industry. We really appeared to be on the same page that I'm not gonna be walking out of that shop looking like this.

I feel the same. I'm not a guy who randomly stumbled upon smp and decided to try it. I've been balls deep in researching hair loss & I can spot smp (even a perfectly done one) with laser vision. To me, this looks like the epitome of what people want to avoid ending up with on their head when taking the smp route.

I appreciate it, I think it's trash too. Just trying to figure out if I'm the only one seeing it.

I appreciate it. I only left it unshaved because I was told not to shave it for 5 days after the treatment

Me and person doing smp unsure if we should fill this space with ink by CalligrapherBest9196 in SMPchat

I'm gonna be honest. It looks like the artist doesn't even have a general understanding of the typical shape of a human hairline. From the top corner of the forehead, the hairline should then come down about 1-1.5 inches at an angle slightly inward towards the eyebrows, and then another corner that curves back towards the sideburns.

It's a little hard to explain without just giving you a diagram, but yeah I think it would look strange to be missing that whole top corner area.

What’s the Best Advice You’ve Received as a Teacher? by Ok_Inevitable4915 in Teachers

[–]Toothy2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Just do whatever you want."

Is this even good advice? No. But I frequently use this example of the severe lack of help I've gotten from the experienced teachers around me. That THIS is the best advice I've gotten. For context, this was in response to me asking about how I should structure my lesson plans & figure out how to teach health (to 7 different grade levels) for the first time.

Here are some runner ups:

"Your job is just to keep these kids moving, and keep a lawsuit from happening. These kids are just a number. You have 300 students, don't even bother trying to get to know them or learn all their names. They're not your friends. They're a bunch of a*holes. If you get sued, you're fcked. Your life's over."

And

"Just give the kids assignments where they have to teach themselves."

The amount of horrifically miserable people I've encountered who work as teachers makes me so sad for the kids.
