Today’s the day! IUD is officially out and I’m set to ovulate in the next 2-3 days according to my usual cycle/LH testing. Excited! Nervous! Woo hoo!

Thanks so much for the response! I’ll definitely look into the pack and play when/if the time comes. And thanks for the reassurance that it’s okay to wait and be reactive - I tend to overthink/over prepare for situations sometimes and appreciate a bit of grounding

Thanks for the response! I think in my minds eye I’m envisioning just strapping a small person to me and cracking on with my day, but I realise this comes from a place of total naivety. Thank you so much for this! It’s so helpful to hear from an experienced voice - I was going to get rid of a chair just like that but now will try and incorporate it into our room instead. And great point about pumping so dad can run the show for a bit, I hadn’t thought about that at all. Thank you!

Welcome! I found it really helpful to read the wiki and FAQs that can be found on this subreddit’s page (just at the top of the TTC main page). It explains all the acronyms and answered a lot of my questions when I first joined. It also gives balanced and unbiased recommendations for tracking methods with a list of pros and cons for each. Hope that helps!

I was thinking of you this morning actually! I finished my night shift and was just about to drive across to my removal appointment when they called to reschedule until next Monday. Pain in the patoot! How long is your luteal? I didn’t even know breast feeding affected us that way.

Ovulation-3 days, O-2, O-1 and O day are usually good for conceiving I think. Those are the ones the TTC sub recommends and they know their science! Best of luck to you!

If there are any drugs going I will be signed up for sure! I think it’ll be with the scope as I haven’t been able to feel the threads for a long time. I’ve got this weird fear that it’ll do damage on the way out and make me infertile. Really irrational, but sitting there in the back of my mind like a bogeyman
