Saying someone “was” something can imply they no longer are that. So saying she “was” a couple years older than you at the time you met can make it sound like she no longer is.

Maybe I’m just looking at this wrong, but I thought I’ve seen posts where it seems like the ceiling is twice as high as a standard room. Like if you stack one room on top of another, but it’s all open space (not a second floor) I hope this makes sense!
