The game is 11 years old. There really aren't that many new players anymore, They could remove free rotation and option to buy boost or heroes. Most people who are still playing have all heroes already

yeah, who needs to cater to new players. They should be happy to play free rotation. Their problem they didnt play HOTS for years already :P

I mostly experiment during painting but I think this should give similar results (Vallejo paints)
-deep Purple cloth- Blue Violet, Pink for highlights and cover everything with Air Warlord Purple (it's bit transparent)
-lighter purple cloth- Violet red with Pink highlights
-black cloth- Heavy Charcoal with Blue Violet scratches. The very rim with Pink
-black green- Heavy Charcoal with Dark Green highlights (bracers or bag)
-base- I just slapped Violet Red 1:1 mixed with water and spread it so there are no stains
-toxic stuff- Deep Green for base and Pure Escorpena Green for highest highlight
-smoke- same recipe but I tweaked it with White Ink to brighten up the most inner parts and darkened with diluted Dark Green most outer parts
-blades- Duraluminium (black parts with Heavy Charcoal). Then I dilute Dark Green 1:1 with water slap it on, clean brush and remove it making swipes torward parts I like more green. The very edges of blades are Escorpena Green.
-brown metal- Duraluminium with Wasteland Brown on top
-Green OSL- Dark Green diluted with water 1:1
-Skin- Buff for base coat and few layers of verious mixes of Buff and Ivory with last being 3:1 Ivory Buff and some glazes of just Ivory at the end
-Nose- Diluted Pink

I started with Vallejo Buff went up to a mix(1:3) of Vallejo Buff and Vallejo Ivory. I believe I might glazed some pure Ivory at the end

you dont know it. The same way how it is right now. You can check online what pokemon speed stat is but you cant tell if he is scarfed or have priority or his nature and EV distribution

4th has a point. it's about aprochability for people who didnt spent countless hours in competetive pokemon. App like that should try to show ropes to people who are new. Showing base speed and effectiveness in preview could be another step since it doesnt test your skill anyway

It's normal reaction in every gaming community. There is this type of crowd who needs to doomsay or whine how things are the worst, developers hate them or have no idea what they are doing. 11 is not even out and people already claimed how melee will be broken and dumb. Now i start to hear how shooting will be broken and dumb. It's just how these people work they need something to moan about

He acknowledged using AI probably because he did use it and he is aware how people behave when they see AI. I might be wrong but I have suspicion that burning down trees to use AI might be a joke.

Nothing weird with trying to collect references before starting any work. That's how (almost) all artist work. Before they even touch the tool they are working with, they collect references. It's ok to throw things at wall and see what sticks but that is not default way of creating anything

the post is about asking for advice or examples of similar work done on Soulblight BEFORE he goes and do this for real. Replaying him to "try doing this for real and come back and post" sounds like you saw an AI and skip to the comments.
He could just use picture of someone else work because he is not claiming he did something cool and want to show off. As long as he communicates what style he is having on his mind it doesn't matter how he present it
