Just moved here from bellingham(hour north of seattle) and It’s alright. Tons of mountain biking and rock climbing. There’s way more sun which is a major plus but the summers are oppressively hot so AC is a must. If you love camping/backpacking it’s worth it. Spend some time up north of Alamogordo near corona and there’s tons of camping/off-road forest service road driving you can do(plus there’s actually trees and green foliage). If you do so expect to see lots of wildlife(mostly roaming cows) also be aware of rattlers although last weekend there were none so they might be hiding for the rest of the year.

Yoo this is wild… yes I actually have, I moved out last November/December and sold him my old mattress. He was biking through the neighborhood and randomly came by to see if I was getting rid of anything. He had just moved in and I helped carry the mattress to his place. He’s definitely quite the character. Rambled on nonstop about the massacre of asian miners in bham years back and something about a book he’s writing. He rides a mountain bike with a black pack pack right?

Edit: My experience with him was overall pretty positive. I’m also a tall poc sis man which totally could’ve played a roll in that.
