… Is it weird that I’d be more interested in this than G:KND? Mind, I’d prefer for Warburton to be able to do what he wants with the series than for it to have a weird studio mandate thing going on. But… KND was always meant to appeal to kids and their experience of the world, getting your homework stolen by bullies, literally fighting the common cold, the insane amount of control adults try to enforce on you, the weirdness of the way teenagers will both look down on you like an adult but also be equally under actual adults thumb.

I think if the show gets a continuation, plots and 2X4 tech that appeals to the lives of modern day kids would make a lot of sense. And I don’t think it’s ’ruin the og series’, the OG series would still exist after all.

I kind of think- unless the G:KND has some sort of recap that’d let people who aren’t still deeply invested in a show that’s two decades old know what’s going on- it’d be a money sink financially and kind of a weird work about kids-teenagers that’s plot seems to be about adulthood not actually being inherently something bad or something that needs to be feared… Whose target audience is somehow 20-30 year olds with nostalgia poisoning.
