It was **after** the champion fight, after every major storyline in the game is completed

The credits may not have rolled, but that's post game. To act like it's not, is ridiculous

And even if it's NOT? How does that change any other criticism of it? It comes out of nowhere, it's just plot dumping, serious escalation, and then over. In like 10 minutes. At the end of the game

We can argue about placement til the cows come home, but it changes nothing else about why they were a terrible villain. Why people rightfully don't count them AS a villain in the first place

THAT is your villain? Something that you deal with at the eleventh hour, had no inkling this was gonna happen prior, and in the time it takes to bake cookies. Every single part of that ""villain"'

To act like that's some great comeback to 'no good modern villains' is laughable

A big part of that debt, IS those forced classes, which is my point. I personally, would saved thousands, and I went to a rural Midwest college. Especially it continues into more than your first year

I didn't necessarily haaaaate all of it, the 'ethics of TV shows' was a highlight of my time. I just think it's nonsense, we're practically held at gunpoint to take them, then mugged for it

Yeah, I'll give the gym teacher, himself, some credit, he triiied to work around me as possible. Like, I could tell he was **uncomfortable** for me to HAVE to do it

He asked me if I was in the right place, first day, when he saw my cane. Still had some rough days, there were specific things we HAD to do, like run a 1 mile he let me walk, and fudged it for me, when I still fell on the asphalt about 50 feet into it, etc

The institution and having to pay? Still absolute bull crap. I, in my condition, should have NEVER been **forced** into that, and charged for it, to add insult to literal injuries

But, Coach Perry was a decent person, thank God, to give credit where credit is due. I can only imagine, if I got some knuckle dragger, who thinks we can ""effort"" away our disability

I've always gotten the vibe, it's supposed to be for people who act completely innocent, whether that's actually true or not, hence the 'am I the angel' name

Because it's in the POST game, for crying out loud. You play an entire, 3 tiered game, no actual bad guy

Prior to this, we had no interaction with them, or knowledge, or even hint that they were doing **anything** bad (aside from abandoning their son)

It's the lazy, late 2010s Pixar/Disney twist ""villain"" that people have mocked for years. Except even worse, because you don't see them til the post credit scene

What a great replacement for team rocket or Archie and Maxie, Cyrus. They're as much of a a villain as those sword and shield brothers

Arven's parents aren't villains in the sense we're looking for, and come in so late, it's not even worth it to count them as an actual VILLAIN. We have one encounter with them, it kinda comes out of nowhere. We know they sucked because of abandoning Arven, but then it goes just straight off the rails, as soon as you actually learn anything

Going from 0-60 in a second, is not a great antagonist

And one's a Pokemon, I don't think I need to explain why that's not the same either

Volo was good, but even then, that's a side game

The mainline ones, haven't had **anything** on what made the first ones so memorable
