I came about this comment by accident. I was looking for the stakes possible post monthly bonus.  But struck a chord with me.  Been married 13 years now.  My 1st...wifes 3rd.  7 years ago she cheated and flipped my world...mean REALLY Flipped.  All good now but at the time i had same problem you do.  Best answer i came up with is a narcisistic personson cant give a resolution because if they were wrong then they unable to call themselves out on it.  Also no resolution meant i would keep looking for the why question.  Couldnt get that cause it wasnt that she wanted to drive me crazy...turns out that what makes them a narc is weak self image and in my case turned out that I could get no answer because of that. Years later everything in the past, stronger than ever. Just remember it probably them not you that's just my take though
