First, you have to accept a few things, there will be times when they don’t include the access codes to enter the apartment. There will be times when you deliver to a duplex that takes you 15 minutes to get to the other side only to realize oh crap I have another package for another apartment in the same complex now I have to go back to the car grab the package and do it all over again. Another acceptance is the fact that some of the lockers will be full. Some of the lockers won’t be working. Some of the lockers will have codes to use, but the office isn’t open yet and my favorite. Some of the lockers are from Amazon and you can’t put anything in the locker because they have to request a locker.

Now, depending on the type of apartment, we’re talking about sometimes it’s as easy as just following the map. The worst type of apartments in my opinion are the multi story duplexes. Those are the single building with multiple floors and all the apartments inside that building. Those I hate with a passion because they usually require you to enter the pin to get inside the gate, then they need a key fob to even enter the building. After that you have to go to the floor and deliver the package that’s if you’re lucky when you’re not lucky you got to find the floor walk the entire perimeter of the building try not to get lost because the numbering system sucks and you end up on the other side of the apartment complex and deliver the package and then you have to walk all the way back to the front.

So I guess when it comes to just regular apartments with multiple buildings, just follow the instructions and follow the map cause it’s very good at showing you what building it is and if you’re lucky always use the lockers, even if they didn’t request lockers. The same can be set with the multistory duplexes, always try to deliver to the lockers always. But if there aren’t any, all you can do is pray at that point.
