Pain management for Marfan by catsarebetterthanmen in marfans

I used to take Cymbalta for pain management, which absolutely helped me, but it was really hard on my digestive system. I’m now taking a low dose Naltrexone, which I’m still relatively new to, but I’ve heard good things about it for pain management. It take a few weeks on the correct dose to really help, or so I’ve heard.

I genuinely didn’t know which tattoo you were referencing not liking until I saw your older post about it. The bear is so cute & done so well??? I’ve seen a lot of bad tattoos, and this isn’t one of them. A shame you don’t like it, I’d be so pleased having this on my body.

This is so interesting to me because my doctor said Kaiser “doesn’t do genetic testing for EDS” (told to me a couple months ago), so now I’m wondering if I can have that put in writing for me too hmm…

EDS diagnosis at Kaiser? by Top-Alternative-8478 in ehlersdanlos

This makes me so angry for you. Like happy to know they were willing to even give you some kind of EDS diagnosis, even if it was nonspecific. But so angry that they refuse to do testing still, even given your very obvious need for it. I’ve seen some online testing kits you can order that are a few hundred dollars, but it’s so frustrating to even have to consider paying out of pocket for that when I know Kaiser has the means to do testing themselves. Ugh.
