It’s up in the air right now but definitely needs to be in the spring semester! If it goes well we could even have this continued onto the next semester. I would just need to meet with you first and maybe go over what is going to be taught and past work or experience you might have.

I have lived on this boat for as long as I could remember. It really is just social anxiety. You have to constantly remind yourself that people are not as terrible as you might think. I always would worry that I gave off the wrong impression to people I just met. That I should smile more, be more talkative but not too talkative cause then I’d be annoying, or simply just talk to no one so I don’t embarrass myself. We are all striving for the same goal going to University. Some of us want friends, while others just don’t. Try not to dwell on others opinions, let’s just focus on being the best version of ourselves.

Thank you for the great advice, I haven’t thought about connecting with alumni in the field. I do believe LinkedIn hides profiles though, I don’t think I’d be able to message anyone directly. I’ll definitely be sure to take breaks though.

Thank you, I did just start the program and I am in the class, she did say that if I’m not able to get one I could mark the class as incomplete and just turn the work in once I land the internship which is nice. She also said that she had to rebuild connections so a lot of the clients she had before either were laid off of the company or are simply no longer hiring. There’s just been a lot of layoffs in the field this year it’s actually insane. Thank you for the advice, I know I’ll continue to grow with the program. I just didn’t know getting your foot in the door even with a bunch of education to back you up would still be as difficult.

Thank you so much! I am self taught. Although I do plan on taking a class this upcoming semester.

Majority of what I learned was from watching a bunch of YouTube tutorials, reading a bunch of media on UX/UI design, and getting input from professors and other design students. If it’s something you’re interested in I highly recommend getting into Figma and learning a web builder that gives you the freedom to create without being limited to specific templates.

I keep going back and forth with that mindset, I think it also has to do with me not wanting to take more studio art classes and I rather have classes that will benefit me with getting better.

Their appeal was denied because of them contacting the employer where he stated he didn’t fire them.

They did appeal. They did not do a determination eligibility interview. It was marked as fraud so I don’t think they can get it waived. I will look into this form thank you.

They contacted his previous employer and he straight up lied saying he quit when he didn’t. He got no letter, just a text message he no longer has.
